"Lovely property ruined by a fly infestation"

The gardens and pool area were spacious. The house was clean and reasonably well equipped.

The property is plagued with flies being next to agricultural land. It was impossible to eat outside due to swarms of flies landing on food. Doors had to be kept closed to keep the flies out meaning the house became really hot. The owners should consider providing a solution to this issue. We also needed to pay for the pool to be heated - even in July as the weather in this part of Portugal isn’t that warm. This was charged at €25 per day which added up to an unexpectedly large bill.
