The Nook Holiday Cottage

Location is great, well equipped, quiet, comfortable. Plenty of space to chill and relax after a busy day.

Het huisje is erg comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien, ruim, met 2 toiletten, een ruime tuin, met fietsen die je kunt gebruiken. En Aviemore is als locatie erg geschikt voor het ontdekken van het Cairngorm National Park, Inverness Loch Ness. Toen we vragen stelden over de wifi kregen we een super snelle en vriendelijke reactie van de gastvrouw.

We hebben veel zelf gekookt en hadden wel iets meer verschillende soorten pannen kunnen gebruiken, maar verder is alles super compleet!

+ Het was een compleet ingericht huis, ook de keuken. + Alles was goed verzorgd, schoon en gastvrij (we konden eerder in het huis en mochten fietsen gebruiken). + Door zonnepanelen en een energiemeter wordt er bewust met energie omgegaan.

Had all the facilities we required and some nice wee extras. We had our wee dog with us and the back garden was ideal.

Only one space reserved for parking was a wee bit frustrating at times but totally understandable.

the attention to detail was amazing. there were charging stations in every room. there were bins in every room. there was a spice tray in the kitchen. extra keys, lots of fluffy towels, detergent was provided for the washing machine. The beds and bed linens were wonderful. the place was spotless.

There was nothing i didn’t like about the property.

This was a very spacious cottage with excellent amenities and very clean and well presented. It was also very accessible to get into with no steps which made arrival and departure a breeze. My main concern was the shower was over the bath and it was an extremely tall bath that was challenging to get in and out of and there was no bath mat and quite slippery so scary. So I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else with any mobility concerns for that reason only. And the main bed felt a little rickety. Otherwise, it’s a great cottage for a family or active group with a helpful host.

The bath was a challenge to get into and out of. But everything was spotless and clean.

The house is lovely, clean, a good size, and in the perfect location. My mum is disabled, and she had no problem manoeuvring through the house and back garden as it is all level. We are close enough to the main centre of Aviemore for the able-bodied to walk to (dropping mum off), but not too close to be bothered by cars or people. Neighbours who live there are very friendly and helpful. The garden is secure for doggies, and they even left blankets, dog bowls, and treats for them! It was my mum's first holiday in 14 years, and she wanted us to book it again for next year before we even left! We would 100% recommend and will be back.
