Whale Sea Cottage

Das Cottage liegt wunderschön an einem felsigen Strand und man kann tatsächlich morgens vom schönen Esstisch aus oder direkt aus dem Pool Wale beobachten. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht, die Betten sind wirklich bequem, es ist genügend Platz vorhanden, Irma und Tanya halten das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Haus sehr gut in Schuss. Der Pool ist sauber und schön groß der Garten wird gepflegt . Der Charme dieses Hauses verzaubert und versetzt mich persönlich in meine Kindheit zurück. Da komme ich gerne wieder.

A beautiful property over looking the sea. Well equipped and comfortable. Lovely decking area and pool at the front overlooking the coast. nice coastal path walk and approx 10 minute walk to restaurants and coffee shops.

The location was next level.

Some doors were difficult to lock.

Property was self-catering. But there was coffee, tea, milk sugar available at the property. We arrived late at night and Irma and Tanya were there to meet us and show us around. The property has everything you need. A gas hob, electric oven, a lovely large fridge with plenty of space, hot water, good water pressure, plenty bath towels and pool towels. Plus, the pool is heated so we were able to swim at night. And we had free WiFi. We did not switch on the television so I cannot comment on that. The 5 of us staying there were totally satisfied with the property and will stay there again if we travel that side of the world.

The property has gorgeous sea views and the sunsets are beautiful. The only thing is that although the property has sea views, there is no beach. It is a very rocky shoreline. We drove to Franskraal for beach walks.

It is a beautiful house, spacious, modern and had everything we needed and more. A beautiful location right across the road from the sea.

We needed more clean bath towels. Staying for 4 days, and with 6 people I think an extra bath towel each would have been appreciated.

I loved the heated pool! That was definitely the highlight of my stay. The house had everything that we needed and it was lovely falling asleep with the sound of the waves. The kids loved the location, as it was quick to tidal pool and rocks for fishing. Magical sunsets.

I would have loved a Smart TV so that we could stream Netflix. The braai is facing the strong Cape Town South Easter wind and we struggled with the braai on the one windy day that we had.
