Slow is the perfect stay on Gili Air. It is in the middle of the island and you can easily reach everything. You can go to the beach from two different sides. The villas are amazing and just as pictured. Everything is super private and feels like your own home. Obviously the private pool is a dream! The outdoor bathroom is super cool and ideal to get off the sand or dust before you enter the bedroom. It is also beautifully designed. The bedroom is spacious and has tons of space for your clothes and also a big desk to put stuff or work. The bed comes with a mosquito net which is very handy! The kitchen is good too but with the wonderful food spots all around the island we didn‘t use it. Theres a lot of different breakfasts to choose from that you enjoy from your private terrace and they‘re all delicious. Staff is extremely friendly and always here if there‘s anything you need (call a cidomo, rent a bike,…). We loved our stay, thank you again!!!

The villa was well appointed and the garden and pool space were very nice. The staff working at the desk and delivering food were very polite and helpful. It was clean and well situated for a quiet experience on a busy island. The aircon and closed doors enabled us to avoid much of the noise.

I called the property to arrange travel and the owner answered. I have never been spoken to so rudely - without a discernible reason - and would have cancelled immediately if it were not prepaid. Luckily this lady was no where to be seen on arrival. She should reconsider her choice of profession - hospitality is not for her. Breakfast was a weak point. It was small, cheapish (few fruits) and the food quality was not great. The property adds an arbitrary 21% "tax & service" charge (15% seems to be the norm elsewhere on the island) to everything - from minibar snacks to travel arrangements. And then a 3% credit card fee - as if anyone pays a hotel bill in cash. Why not just charge a higher price? It feels very nickel and dime cheap. The joke is there is a "tip box" at the reception after all that. I suspect that the staff gets none of the benefits of the service charge.

The aircon was very poor room was so hot the staff kept turning the aircon off when we left our villa so when we came back to get ready for bed the room was boiling hot and not pleasant struggled to sleep in room So hot Pool was not clean the filter had a build up of green slime round it my daughters pool toys all were discoloured and stained from the pool Breakfast was disappointing Wouldn’t recommend wish we stayed somewhere else

Das Personal war während des gesamten Aufenthalts ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ließ kaum Wünsche offen: Neben ausreichendem Trinkwasser, Bademantel, vielen Handtüchern befanden sich auch Pflegeprodukte wie Conditioner und Bodylotion in der Villa. Die Minibar war gut gefüllt. Die Auswahl an gesunden Speisen beim Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker. Die Lage ist zudem sehr vorteilhaft.

Ein Punkt, der uns aufgefallen ist, ist dass es im Slow selbst kein Yoga-Angebot gibt, sondern nur über ein Partnerhotel. Dafür gibt es ein SPA vor Ort, das wir sehr positiv empfunden haben. Allerdings empfiehlt es sich, die Behandlungen etwa einen Tag im Voraus zu buchen, da Termine sonst schwer zu bekommen sind.

Great villas and a very pleasant pool. Rooms are big and nice outside bathroom. The villas are at, in our view, nicest part of the island. It’s a 16 minute walk to the harbour and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Lovely villa! Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. I left something in the safe without realising until I was off the island. The staff posted it out to our next hotel straight away and kept us updated the whole time.
