Slow - Private Pool Villas & Spa

Breakfast was fabulous. The rooms are lovely, peaceful and nicely decorated. The pool is the perfect temperature. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, the pillow exceptionally comfortable. The staff here are wonderful, super accommodating and very professional.

Every night there was burning, smokey air coming into the property. I don't think it's the fault of the accommodation, I suspect it's the high number of barbecues on the small island and the burning of leafy debris that is swept up during the day. I am asthmatic and this really affected my chest. Having said that, if you are going to stay on Gili Air, I suspect this is one of the nicest accommodations to stay in. I was also a little surprised one day when sitting on the outside loo, to see a man up the tree in the next door property. He was cutting coconuts down. He had a very clear view into our bathroom! Luckily I didn't catch his eye!!

The room comes with its own pool and a massive garden. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The resort is 5 min away from the quieter side of the seafront where the water is very shallow. It's still within walking distance from the more active side of the island but something to consider if you want to be on the side with deeper water and more restaurants and bars at your doorstep. It's a little overpriced but overall it's a nice place.

The toilet seat was a bit old and stained which was off putting. Also, the bathroom is not one of those indoor/outside ones. It is completely outside which makes it a bit more challenging when the hot sun hits it or when it rains. It's not major but something to consider. There is no restaurant on the premises so you select your breakfast the night before and have to go out for lunch/dinner.

Beautiful property in a great location (5 minutes walk to the beach). Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

Food was good but they only supply breakfast. Which is fine! We were happy to explore Gili Air and get food at the restaurants 5 minutes away. There were some days we ordered to the room and the hotel gets food from local restaurants. The plunge pool in the room is great and the garden we got to ourselves was HUGE! Great location and everything is less than 15 mins away by bike. Spa was good also!

Terrible customer service.

We had a blast during our stay. If youre looking for a place to SLOW down and just relax, chilling in a pool or in a large beautiful garden - this spot is just for you. Definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Beautiful & natural accommodation, the nicest staff, room delivery of delicious breakfast in a morning.

All was exceptional, big garden with private pool and breakfast delivered to your villa.

Wifi was not working properly, sometimes it was too slow. Muslim prayers were often quite loud, but ear plugs were provided.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Slow Gili Air Hotel, where the exquisite architecture and perfectly maintained facilities impressed me from the moment I arrived. The delicious breakfast and extremely clean environment, set against peaceful surroundings, made for a truly relaxing experience

The service, while good, was not available 24/7, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the outside lights were insufficient to properly illuminate the pool and garden area at night.
