The Lake House

Beautiful views Attention to detail Made the stay so convenient, provided coffee, charcoal, firewood, swimming and bath towels, so we didn't have to bring everything with.

There was nothing I didn't like

They had ice ready There was charcoal and fire lighters ready There was doom and load shedding lights ( in case ) Showers were good. Towels were fluffy Had all required to cook and store food Had DSTV for the rugby 😁

Everything, KZN is one of the best provinces, rich in culture, heritage and the people. We sometimes underestimate what we have in SA, but every time I travel, I discover new things about my country. We stayed by the lake, breathed fresh air every day, went to the Game Park, saw big 3 out of 5 & we were blessed with an amazing tour around the big lake and a nice drive.

In one word Nellie! She is an amazing housekeeper who looked after us so well. We also loved all the space and beautiful views.

The power tripped when we put the oven on, but we were able to reset ourselves. It was unfortunate the wind prevented us from taking any boat trips.

Nelly was awesome and took excellent care of us. There is plenty of space even for big families.

The ease of dealing with Craig, the ease of booking, questions answered very quickly. The accommodation and surrounds were completely undersold. It was absolutely beautiful, incredibly well equipped and just lovely. The views and surrounds were idyllic. There was even wood, charcoal and ice available.

Getting in at 7pm and discovering that the cleaner had not been in. Had we known this we would have prepared for it. The gas grill outside needs some TLC.

The house has all amenities that you require to give you a hassle free stay. The outside deck area is the best.

The location was superb. We loved the immense amount of space in the house and on the property. Absolutely loved having Nelly and Nesta do daily cleaning. Big bonus!

We were of the opinion that we would have paid a small fee to have basics in the kitchen. We had no oil, olive or otherwise, balsamic, ground black pepper, a few herbs and spices. Also things like flour, tomato sauce, mayonnaise and chutney
