Location

The Villa is located on the banks of Harangi Reservoir and has an excellent view. Coffee plantation, Pepper vines and other flora surround the villa. Inside the Villa, the hall and rooms are big and comfortable.

The road leading to the Villa is in bad shape, though ok for SUVs and high ground clearance cars. The 2 ladies (Chechis) in the kitchen cook up great breakfast and meals if you stick to local cuisine or let them suggest a menu. Anything fancy, like a Barbecue, will turn out to be a disaster. The host's initial absence due to his personal reasons left space for improvement on courtesy and guest satisfaction fronts; but after he turned up, things went up several notches high and I carry no grudge.

Excellent service. Amazing food (breakfast, snacks and dinner) and accommodating cooks. There was a refrigerator (with a freezer) accessible for us, as well as a hot water electric kettle. We used both. The premises are beautiful and very peaceful - I wish I could've stayed there longer. The host, Cariappa, was easily accessible over Whatsapp and humble. We stayed 2 nights and did day-trips to Namdroling Monastary, Dubare Elephant Camp and Nisargadhama. We were 8 adults 1 child 1 baby, and 2 drivers. They were willing to provide mattresses for the drivers to sleep in the living room too, but our drivers chose to sleep in the car instead, but used the provided bedding. The cooks cooked up a storm of local delicacies, along with awesome filter coffee/tea, which were all relished by us.

Google Maps directions can be unreliable. It took us on a different route by the banks of Harangi lake and unfortunately our car got stuck in the wet mud. The hosts managed to get us a tractor to pull our car out, and we made our way to the location via another road (not fully paved, so expect lots of bumps).

The property managers and all other staffs were really careful about hospitality and Convenience of the guest
