Villa Soliva - Mare e Panorama Unico

Pobyt w villi Soliva oceniamy jako udany. Sam obiekt i pokoje były w porządku – stan faktyczny był okej, a na miejscu znaleźliśmy wszystkie potrzebne przybory oraz dobrze wyposażoną kuchnię, co bardzo ułatwiło nam codzienne funkcjonowanie z 3 dzieci. To, co nas absolutnie zachwyciło, to przepiękna, bujna włoska roślinność wokół willi. Ogromnym plusem był również sam właściciel, Antonello – niezwykle sympatyczny, otwarty i bardzo pomocny w każdej sytuacji. Dziękujemy za gościnę!

Sehr fürsorglicher und kommunikativer Vermieter. Er hat uns sogar spät abends am Ankunftstag mit einem Teller sizilianischen Imbiss überrascht. Bei Fragen hat er sehr schnell/sofort reagiert und war auch bei einer persönlichen Angelegenheit sehr hilfsbereit. Ruhige und schöne Lage, gepflegter Garten. Terrasse und Veranda haben wir sehr genossen

Die Unterkunft war gut gelegen und man hatte einen tollen Ausblick. Ebenso waren der Vermieter und seine Familie sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es war immer sofort jemand zur Stelle, wenn wir eine Frage hatten oder Hilfe brauchten.

Die Küche war sehr klein und es gab wenig Ablageflächen. Ebenso machte der Herd manchmal Probleme. Aber das ist auch alles.

Great location among the hills. Antonello greeted us at the gates and made sure our stay is comfortable and that we have all we need. The host also provided us useful information to get around Mondello and answered any of our questions during the stay. The villa itself was very clean, spacious and had all the utilities we needed. View from the terrace is wonderful and perfect to spend time during warm Mondello evenings. 100% recommend Villa Soliva and will surely come back when we are in Sicily again!

We had a lovely stay at this vacation house. The property was clean and well-maintained. The terrace was our favorite spot, surrounded by large windows that made it feel like you were sitting in the garden and with great view on the sea. The garden is very nice and spacious- a green oasis. The property is nicer than the pictures suggest. Antonello, the owner, was helpful and quick to respond to any questions. A great place for a relaxing stay!

View and beach and town proximity

We had running water our first day. The second day we had no running water. This means no toilets, no showers, no washing machine, no kitchen. No water. We were told the cisterns would be filled for the following day. The following day we had no running water. We had no choice but to move to a hotel. I wrote the owner and explained that if he sent a photo of the running water, we would return so that he wouldn't lose the entire booking. He became very unpleasant and refused. The ordeal created a tremendous amount of trouble, stress and expense. We have requested a refund, but have not yet had any response from Booking.com or the owner of the Villa. We have photos and videos and text messages of proof of all of it. WE ARE NOT HAPPY.

Great villa for family stay with fantastic garden; helpful host at disposal; ample space and all facilities; double bathroom; balcony room with wonderful view over Mondello; great garden for kids to play. Walking access to beach. Good base for a week family stay for exploring Palermo area.

Upper neighbour occasionally visits the compound. Hot water in shower can ran out.

Clean pleasant spacious living areas with views of Mondello and mountains. If you enjoy walking: groceries, beach and restaurants are all within a 20 minute walk. We had toured Sicily the two weeks prior and found this a nice place to relax before going home. The beach in Mondello is one of Sicily’s best, and hiking up Mt Gallo was great. We took a taxi to/from Palermo airport (€50) and felt we didn’t need a car. The kitchen was small but seemed fully equipped, we only made breakfast there.

The property was surrounded by gated villas all with large barking dogs. Whether walking into town or relaxing on the spacious deck, dogs were often barking while patrolling their fence lines.

The house was immaculate, plenty of bed linen to use throughout the week, extra bed linen available for free upon request. Location is absolutely amazing with complete view of Mondello city. House is located close to the beach and supermarkets. The host was available 24/7 for our necessities and received us at the time we have requested. He kept everything extremely professional. Location and Sicilians are exceptional. It was the once in a life time trip for me and my family. We will definitely book again
