Quiet location, spacious outdoor, and self cooked meals are a lot of fun to do. One of the best stays we had - exclusive, unblocked view of Mount Fuji from almost every room and the garden. Service staff was professional and accommodating, and ready to respond to requests.

There’s quite a bit of flies at the time that we stayed (mid Apr) but I guess that’s seasonal and the property also provided some remedies.

Everything, love the place so much. They really cattered to our need. Can see the mount fuji so clear and near also, our whole family love it.

The dryer cannot dry properly

Food was amazing. Beds super comfortable. Bath and sauna spectacular. Views were incredible

Only reason it was 9 and not 10 is there could be a nice sitting/lounge area or a better heating system outside

The location is everything!! Amazing view of Mt Fuji. Koyama was so welcoming and informative on our arrival. The fire outside goes out after 2 hours and you can’t refill it. So worth asking about that or keeping it in mind, as we wanted to spend the evening outside but it was cold. The electric blankets did help though. Also, it’s half board but you make the food. We really enjoyed that but worth keeping in mind if you’d rather not. The pillows in one of the bedrooms were very hard and there were no alternatives. Sauna and hot tubs (large baths) were fab. No tea or coffee (unless you’d like to roast the beans yourself), so bring your own. Quite remote. Your own car is advisable.
