The villa location is perfect, but car hire is essential as it is out of the way. Driving in Cyprus is a breeze, the roads are always quiet and they drive on the left. Pissori bay is beautiful, not too busy and not commercial, it has bars and restaurants but it is not overly lively. The area of the villa is very peaceful but only 3km from the beach. Pissouri village square is a must visit, especially on a Friday when they have their 'Cyprus Night', with live dance and music. The villa is spacious and well equipped, it has everything you need. The host, Chris was very friendly, he came very other morning to clean the pool and one morning left us some grapes. He also offered to buy groceries for our arrival. The private pool was by far the highlight of the holiday, the water temperature was perfect and we went in every day. The outdoor shower with hot running water was a bonus, as was the BBQ, the villa really does have everything for a comfortable holiday.

The villa decor was very dated and the beds were hard as rock, but saying that we would definitely return, the pros far outweigh the cons!

The location of the villa was ideal for us. It was secluded, private, quiet and tranquil. The Villa had all essential items that you would expect and more! WiFi was good! We loved the typical Cypriot, homely charms. Outside area was excellent. Chris was attentive, he went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. He happily gave friendly and informative advice where to eat and visit. We couldn’t ask for a better host! He was always available to contact by phone if needed. Own transport is essential and villa has plenty of space to park! We will happily return to the villa and would recommend to others. Unfortunately we were only there for one week but would have loved to have stayed longer.

Privacy lovely pool and garden excellent tv and internet. Extremely friendly owner who was helpful at all times. Easy walk to the coast with plenty of taxis available.

Zena villa is in a very tranquil position, very private with a choice of outdoor spaces to suit the sun. Excellent pool well maintained by the owner. Easy drive to several beaches and restaurants.

Lovely spot and well laid out. Appears to be old family holiday home. Chris obviously very conscientious about his guests.

House is well loved but clearly tired and a bit dated - we had a couple of issues with electrical appliances and power cuts. Quite clean (bar some pots and pans etc which is just recommend double cleaning before you start using). Chris did his best to help and obviously cared about his guests, but it sort of felt like he thought it was our fault we didn’t understand, and we had some communication issues. We got charged €115 of our €150 deposit for some damage we made to the side of the leg of one of the plastic sun loungers. Arguably understandable but felt a bit unfair given the minor nature of the damage and some of the issues we’d had with the property (four power cuts, oven settings broken, fireplace not usable - though apparently these are all getting fixed). If we could be bothered and it wasn’t a cash deposit, we would have sought a remedy with booking.com, but simply not worth it. We were also often told it was our fault that we didn’t get told about the oven because we rushed check in (check in took 45 mins and we only left as we had to do an airport pickup!). A slight dampener on the stay but overall it’s a nice home and Chris is just trying to be a diligent host.

The villa was extremely clean and Chris came in every other day to clean the pool area and surrounds . Chris was exceptionally helpful and very friendly and had provided everything that we needed for our stay in the villa . We found we needed a car or there is a very efficient taxi service in Pissouri bay, however the beach and numerous good restaurants are only a mile or so away.,

The villa is a little tired and dated . Our friend thought the downstairs bathroom was very small and the shower needed updating.
