The house is old and has seen better days. The Ac's in the rooms could only turn on from the wall socket without really knowing the mode and temp they are set. The kitchen was ill-equipped, missing forks and having only 3 glasses and a dying fridge. The shower barely had any pressure. Overall, it's an older house. It's not bad, and the pool was clean enough, but it's not and has never been a vila. It's someone's old family vilage house and should be advertised as such. Also, the owner is unresponsive most of the times you call.

There is nothing to like about this property, it is filthy, unkempt out dated and in desperate need of cleaning.

The villa is filthy , I spent €85 on cleaning products when I arrived, the reason being I had a friend arriving the following day and more arriving 5 days later. We cleaned and tried to make the best of a bad situation, no steps to get in and out if the pool, not that it could be used as the water was green, the aircon is only in two bedrooms, not that we would have used it as they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned and it serviced since installed. Broken washing machine that they took 8 days to replace. No cleaning or change of linen and towels, your expected to do this as they supply a washing machine?? We purchased our own fans as this also took 8 days before they arrived with one, which was left for us to assemble. On day two of our stay we returned from lunch to find a man in the villa going through our personal belongings. I have it on good authority that the reason the poll was green is because the owner would pay the pool man for the chemicals. This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding our stay at Alonia Villa. After dropping my friends off at the airport I booked myself, at great expense in to a hotel for my last 8 days. I also just noted that someone called Stelios has left (on here) a really high score review claiming he was at the villa for 3 days whilst I was staying there , we can safely assume this is as all the good reviews about this property are, I feel like I’ve been conned out of my holiday and the money spent. I would never book anything owned or managed by this charlatan, this and everything else he manages needs to be avoided like the plague.
