Villa Vikla

Very spacious and comfortable, nicely furnished. Quiet, 20 min walk to village. There were only 2 of us so plenty of everything, if 6 adults were to stay, there would be a shortage of sun loungers and possibly drinking glasses.

The sea view is compromised a little by the villa over the road.

We enjoyed the vacation a lot. The villa has everything needed and all was in great condition: 3 bedrooms are spacious, clean and have plenty of storage room; there are 3 well maintained bathrooms; the kitchen is excellently equipped; the salon is cozy and very welcoming to spend time together; the pool is very nice and was cleaned twice during our 1-week stay; the exterior is also clean and overall very private. The owners allowed us to check-in early and bought us some stuff so we could prepare our first breakfast as well as some fruits, bottle of wine and beers. Very nice!

We noticed few single old negative comments and it looks like all that what was mentioned there is fixed now. So, since it seems the owner really cares about his property, here are few suggestions: 1. There are only local TV channels in Greek. It'd be nice to have a choice of few international channels 2. There are TVs in all bedrooms but although I consider myself technical guy I wasn't able to tune it in - didn't really need it after all 3. The bed in master bedroom could be bigger :-)

Firstly, Gregory and his family are amazing, easy to communicate, extremely helpful, work hard to ensure villa and your stay is the best it can be. Then, the property itself, which is fantastic, great location, including views, in the amazing village of Pissouri, close to bay/sea, the airport, Paphos, Limassol and many other parts of this beautiful island. Although we have stayed in Pissouri many times, including at the Columbia Hotel, this is the first time at this villa, and we will definitely return here.

There is nothing we didn't like, we loved it. This place is amazing, the only downside is that it is so great, I suspect many people will opt for this and keep returning, making it harder to secure a stay here. Beautiful home.

Villa Vikla is in a perfect location to explore Paphos and the the surrounding area. Ideal for a group of friends or family group, it comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bathrooms including one downstairs. It is very comfortably furnished , with a fully equipped kitchen and high quality table and glassware. Bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds, bedside lamps and plenty of wardrobe space. Robes and slippers are a lovely addition as are Molton Brown toiletries . Plenty of towels for bathrooms and pool. The garden and pool area are beautifully maintained with mature olive and fig trees . There are several seating areas , one with shaded dining table. The views from the villa are outstanding ,perfect for watching the sunset. The visiting group of kittens and their mother to the garden was an added bonus for us .

The property was beautiful. Very well maintained, and very well equipped for comfort and luxury. I didn’t think it was possible, but I’d say better than the photos represent! Awesome views and lovely to watch the sunset with a cold beer! Wife and kids loved it. The hosts were helpful and informative. Car rental is a must as it’s at least a 35 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. The host can even supply a rental car too!

Nothing we didn’t like!

Fabulous villa, as others have said photograph’s don’t do it justice. Like staying in a boutique hotel, very chic interior, Molton Brown toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers and yoga mats. Well equipped kitchen so you could fully self cater if wanted. We chose to eat out every evening, as lots of lovely tavernas in Pissouri. Great pool with inflatables that the teens and tween loved. We loved the location, towards the outskirts of Pissouri, high on a hill with lovely views and a much appreciated breeze helping to keep you cool. Very private, peaceful and not over looked. I think you could walk into Pissouri village from there but in 32 degree heat we felt it was just too far and so used the car. No problem finding parking even on Cyprus night. Would highly recommend Cyprus night, Fridays in peak season in the village. An evening of Cypriot music and dancing, lovely atmosphere and lots of fun. You do need to book with one of the tavernas in the square as it is very popular. Pissouri is a lovely traditional village, well located between Paphos and Limassol. We would definitely stay again.

No information folder in the villa, although could message owner for information, would have been helpful e.g information about local area and villa, what to do with rubbish/recycling etc

We spent a week here with my family. We enjoyed our stay and especially the kids (3 and 5) loved the pool. The villa is spacious, clean, in a quiet location. The owner is very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed the homemade olive oil we were given from him as a gift. Little things like food in the fridge, cold drinks (including already made ice in the freezer) etc just made our stay even better. Thank you for having us and we'll see you again when the opportunity arises.

Everything was perfect as it was.

The villa was beautiful with great views and the facilities were great, including robes, slippers and yoga mats. The host was very communicative and helpful, and allowed us to stay later on check out day as our flight wasn't until the evening. The host was kind enough to provide us with bread, soft drinks, etc on our arrival, and someone attended to maintain the pool during the week. Thank you for a fantastic week, and we look forward to visiting again!
