Win Gray Homestay Resort

Our stay with Win was lovely. She was very welcoming, went out her way to sort our dinner, sorted breakfast and personally took us to the airport. What a gem! The rooms are fairly basic but you do not need anything more. Thank you for having us.

It's a small, unconventional complex where you can have peace and quiet. You can use the outdoor kitchen yourself and for the price it's absolutely great. The sea is maybe 200 meters away and can be reached very quickly on foot and the hostess is a very warm, lovely woman. A small pool and the rating would be a ten. Always keep in mind, we are talking about value for money. The internet is very fast, good for streaming. You will be picked up from the airport and taken there again, and also from the train; the train stops right here in the village and you can get there from Bangkok several times a day. Here there is just peace and quiet, no loud music, no constant noisy traffic. Win, the female owner, speaks good english with this lovely thai accent.

Very quiet and calm

The staff was very nice. When we arrived, the owner was in town so her daughter greeted us and showed us our room. They let us borrow their personal motorbike to go eat dinner somewherewhich was very sweet because there's nothing walkable. Shower water pressure was good. Free ride to airport. The information book in the room had good info on what to do in the area but we only had 11 hours.

Free breakfast was thai soup, bread & instant coffee. We couldn't get the tv to work.

The resort consists of 4 villas with a five minute walk to the beach. The host is extremely awesome! She does everything herself. Massages, cooking meals, cleaning and attending to everyone’s needs. She provides motorbikes for rent, bicycles and free rides to and from the airport or Pathiu train station.
