Villa 252 Kosgoda - Beach side stay & Tours

Our first visit to Sri Lanka our first stop was villa 252 and it was better than expected Everyone was so nice breakfast super. Dinner superduper walkingdistance to an emottagen beach. Love it. And we can recommend this place for sure

We loved our stay at the villa. Very close to a beautiful and quiet beach. The property was very clean and our room was comfortable with fridge, kettle and hot shower. The hosts were wonderful and cooked us a tasty dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend the place

The property was very clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable. The host was friendly and kept his distance. The breakfast was small but fresh and adequate. The location was a 3-4 min walk to a beautiful beach.

The village is a little run down with no shops or cafes so walking around town is not an activity here, if you’re into that.

Villa 252 Kosgoda is conveniently located in a short walk from the beach. A supermarket and some restaurants are within 10-15 min walk from the property. The place feels safe and is well maintained. The room is big, there are tea making facilities and a fridge. AC works well. Also there is an access to a nice terrace. The bathroom is huge, good water pressure, hot water. The best part are the owners. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They are trying their best to accommodate all your needs.

I wish there were bed stands or bedside tables and electric outlets next to the bed.

Its not really sea facing but u get a view of the sea far away from the balcony, otherwise everything was perfect.

If you are looking for comfort and tranquility, this is a place not to be missed. You will stay on the first floor of a large and charming family house run by a Sri Lankan couple, 300m from the sea. There are only 2 rooms to rent, so no disturbance or nuisance from neighbors. The guest terrace overlooks the sea and the lush tropical garden. It is in the shade all morning and is equipped with large shutters for the sun. The rooms are sufficiently spacious and well appointed. Solid wood furniture, very good bedding, large bathroom, always hot water, air conditioning, fan and fridge. The hosts are very welcoming and charming and you will quickly feel at home. Breakfast is included in the price and is plentiful. It is also possible to order a la carte for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend it, it's delicious and convenient because there isn't much around. There are 2 restaurants on the beach, one of which was closed and the other one very expensive. Overall, the beach is practically deserted, which is part of its charm. On the main road you will find a kind of bakery, an ATM and two small shops. Once again, there isn't much in the area but it is possible to rent a scooter if you want to explore. I highly recommend this place for people who want peace and quiet, to be a little away from the tourist places while still having all the comfort. You can hardly find better I think and personally, I extended my stay and stayed 4 nights instead of 2. A place to discover and to remember. Thank you

The tropical garden can be a bit noisy early in the morning, due to the birds and squirrels and I'm noise sensitive. Also, there are many dogs around and you'll hear them barking, sometimes also during the night. These are really details compared to all the benefits of this place.

Nice owners, location 100 meters walk to a beautiful beach, excellent food. Only 2 quality rooms in the family villa with a nice garden. Relaxed atmosphere.

No beds available for the beach. Very loud music from the neighbour house occupied by a group of young men. It was maybe just for the 3 nights we styaed there but earplugs recommended

Absolutely best value in the area! This villa makes you feel like in your own house, while being located at a reasonable distance to the sea (2-3 min walk), provides lots of options to rest on premises - sun beds, balcony terrace with chairs and a soft shaded area Family which runs it is extremely accomodating, helpful and happy to help you with anything you want. Breakfast is small, but served like it was a European 4-star hotel. And finally, well-baked toasts! So I would call it fabulous

Room lacks natural ventilation, so gets got w/o A/C on (and I don't like to keep it on at night). The veil Ng tan may help Many flies and mosquitoes on premises, I guess it's a question of some disinfection as they're really more than on the street
