Blackshaw's Studio

The location was lovely with a peaceful garden and seating area. The interior of the studio was beautifully curated. The presentation of a historic small building was really sensitive and well done. I loved that the artist's- Mr Blackshaw's quotes were retained and included within the stylist decor on the walls. The hosts Peter and Laura were wonderful. Both were friendly and helpful. I had a lovely stay for work and appreciated all the host's hard work to make the short stay in the studio special. the location is very central and within easy distance to the airport. Everything was clean. The beds were really comfortable.

WIFI would have been helpful for work purposes. I understand cable is on its way. Other than that small point everything else was perfect and a credit to Peter and Laura's hard work.

The highway road close

Lovely cottage, very charming. Hosts were very responsive, communicative and friendly. Good value for money. Property has lots of character.

Only feedback is that I'd encourage the hosts to buy a better fridge for the property (especially one with a freezer compartment for ice etc)

It was very tastefully designed with nice design details. Lovely rural location - views maximised by the windows. Hosts only live up the driveway but didnt disturb us at all.

It was difficult to keep the bedroom warm as walls were solid stone, but upstairs stayed warmer longer. We visited in Nov.

Beautiful stable conversion.

This is such a beautiful property, and a little bit of history. It's perfect for couples, as it has one bedroom, but a little sofa bed too.

A couple of missing bits - no teatowels, body towels a little small.

I loved how old-timely the property was. It was decorated beautifully with lots of lovely little surprises. My partner and I were able to enjoy cooking a beautiful bolognaise dinner in the studio and watched a film with the stove lit. It felt magical.
