Everything in the house is in great condition and it is very spacious, but hands down what we liked the most was the property host. He took care our meals with prime quality food.

A wonderful reception – even though we arrived after midnight, The owner sent a car for us from the airport and was waiting with local refreshments and a gracious welcoming tour of Lucida ; Staying here means you don’t have to think of anything ! ; they had thought of every little thing we could possibly need to make our stay as relaxing as possible, from the copious snacks and refreshments to the toiletries and entertainment. The little details make it a fabulous stay, nicely spread out so even as a large group you could find lots of quiet areas to chill out and recoup, but with an owner that is eager to show the beauty of Rhodes so that you could have your very own guide around the island to experience whatever suited you most from beaches to the hills or history of the town. The gastronomy ? – well Hippocrates says, “Let food be thy medicine” and Lucida takes this sentiment seriously. From your morning breakfast outside under the olive and lemon trees with fresh local Greek produce – to the evening with a grill and fresh cut salad with fragrant fresh oregano and lemons straight from the gardens around you – it’s just pure bliss. If you’re yet to feel healed, retreat to the reposeful areas in and around the residence and let your worries whittle away to the soothing sound of cicadas, from plunge pool side to garden hammock or numerous chill out beds and cabanas around the welcome shade of the beautifully designed garden – with tortoises under the trees and kittens prowling the terraces; it is just blissful. You will not go hungry that is certain ! We used every corner to relax – and the tv outside under the cooling canopy was just perfect for lazy evening. The ‘jacuzzi’ was great – more a good-sized plunge pool, spotlessly clean, the perfect temperature and well designed to get in and out of, with a brilliant outside shower. There is a gym with everything you could need and bikes and paddle boards. In the evening the outdoor lighting was just perfect.

It had everything we needed, great garden, outside and inside dining area, fully equipped fitness in the double garage, one of the bedrooms where we slept was huge, fully equiped kitchen. Huge TVs and a very decend soundbar audio system. Air conditioning was with very quiet Daikin units. Our host Yani prepared breakfast for us at our request on the days when we were not leaving early.

I really could not think of any shortcoming. It had only a small pool, but this was not required by anyone from the group

This was a truly fabulous villa/ holiday destination, made even better by the experiences provided by Ioannis, the owner, and his lovely family. The property is divided nicely into different zones offering flexibility and space. There is air con throughout and you have a great supply of essentials. Anything not available or needed is very quickly made available / resolved by Ioannis. He truly does dedicate his time to your needs. The bedrooms are spacious and the mattresses are very comfortable. There is a full supply of towels for use throughout your stay; and washing facilities and multiple supplies. The kitchen is also well stocked with supplies such as bags, foil and dishwasher tablets. Ioannis works hard to make you comfortable - we arrived late on the first night and he fed us that evening; then continued to offer homemade breakfast and BBQs. He’s constantly available for questions, advice or local contacts. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Lucidum villa. It is beautiful.

The property is on a main road, but it is safe (closed perimeter and secure automatic gate) and therefore very well positioned to access many locations / sights quickly - most within 15-30 mins of the property - including inland to the middle for vineyards. So, nothing I dislike about the property.

Fantastic place and comfortable, very kind owner, the owner was waiting for us with breakfast and barbecue. Nice and clean environment. I can only recommend it to everyone, it was an unforgettable place. Only good things can be said about it. Thank You so much! :))
