L'emplacement à 2 pas du site archeologique d'Olympie est parfait.

L'hébergement manque un peu d'entretien (fuite sur la douche pour exemple), dommage.

Le lieu est une maison entière spacieuse, avec une cuisine et de quoi se débrouiller. La maison est accessible avec un porte clé, le portail est fermé la nuit, nous sommes au calme et tranquille. Jolie piscine illuminée accessible sans horaires. Le petit déjeuner est déjà dans le frigo, nous sommes libres de le prendre à l’heure qu’il nous plaît. Le départ se fait en liberté avec un code et une boîte à clé. Hotel accueillante et avenante. L’hôte propose aussi un menu pour manger des spécialités grecques (pas testé) qu’elle amène.

Le petit déjeuner était un peu sobre (œufs frais, mais charcuteries et fromage industriels, jus d’orange dilué, pain de mie industriel emballé), pas de spécialités (feta par exemple), pas de fait maison ce qu’on peut attendre chez l’habitant. La cafetière à piston est un peu petite pour deux tasses. Deux sachets de thé pour 5 personnes. Une seule prise pour la bouilloire ou le grille pain, il faut alterner entre les deux. Peu de vaisselle, un seul mug, un bol, les jolies tasses grecques sont décoratives et pas à usage alimentaire.

Georgia, our host, was fantastic. Plenty to eat for breakfast, the villa was spacious and lots of outdoor space, including a swimming pool and small taverna on site with a beautiful view of the mountains.There is on site parking which is secure as there is an electronic gate system. The village also had another 2 tavernas and was perfectly located to visit Ancient Olympia.

Absolutely nothing!

I do not recommend booking this accommodation. While the property has a few functional aspects, the overall experience was severely let down by misleading descriptions and the extremely dated state of the cottages. On the positive side: + The property offers a private entrance with a gate, providing a secure place to park a car. +The accommodation consists of two separate cottages, which can offer a degree of privacy.

The advertisement for this property is highly inaccurate: - Not a Villa, But Two Cottages: The property is listed as a villa but is in fact two separate, rustic cottages. - No Private Pool: The description explicitly promised a private pool. What is provided is a shared, common pool that was not heated and appeared very dirty and poorly maintained during our stay. - "Breakfast" Service is Misleading: There is no served breakfast included. Instead, a host places a minimal, do-it-yourself assortment in the fridge prior to arrival, consisting of old bread, basic cheese, ham, and raw eggs. When we requested simple additions like yogurt or chocolate spread, the hosts refused to accommodate the request, which felt like a miserable level of service. We were forced to purchase our own breakfast items. - Hot Tub is Extra and Enclosed: An "outside hot tub" is listed as an amenity. What is provided is an indoor tub in a glass cage that is only available for an extra charge. This mandatory, unlisted fee makes the amenity misleading. The physical state of the accommodation was unacceptable for the price paid: - Extremely Dated and Uncomfortable: The furniture and fixtures are old, dated, and uncomfortable throughout both cottages. This includes the bed, shower, kitchen area, and couches. For the premium price charged, the quality was significantly below expectation. - Pest and Insect Problem: We experienced an issue with pests. The property was crawling with insects, both outside and inside the cottages. We saw large spiders, centipedes, mosquitos, flies, and other various unidentified insects. In summary, the listing grossly misrepresents the amenities and quality of this property. The numerous false claims combined with the dated, uncomfortable accommodations and poor service make this an accommodation I would strongly advise against booking.
