Good view from Villa

A/C only in bedrooms so intense heat from outside indoors the a/c condensers being placed under the dining room made the rooms very hot

Stunning house run by really friendly staff. Nearby beach was accessible on foot. We were recommended to use Nee's restaurant an amazing takeaway delivery which was also superb. Loved being able to cook and feel at home whilst being on this beautiful tropical island. A nice break from hotels.

A car is useful to explore other parts of the island and go to larger supermarkets to buy food for self catering. Not a problem as this was all arranged for us when we arrived.

Has everything you need in the house

It's located in a high ground area, quiet & away from the main road, even our local taxi driver couldn't find it. Booking.com provided the number couldn't reach anybody, we asked few residents around to get to a staff (boy), to help us contact the house management lady,.... in the end they are very helpful to take us there.

"Good villa for intended private "get-away from it all" use within easy access multiple facilities."

Property was located advantageously on a (steep) hill with a partial view to Ban Tai Bay and the sea. (But would require some form of transport to avoid 500m+ walk/climb to/from a local, well provisioned, grocer at main road junction and the beach. There being, amongst others, a good restaurant (Hug Samui) and Massage/Therapy complex (Nature Wing)). Privacy was excellent during rental period and overall facilities, for self-catering, were good. Pool with great view and shared living areas were excellent for a stay that involves staying at the villa or indoors (during rainy periods).

Property could have been better prepared (maybe due to low prior use/low season) but, when reported, all issues were resolved with speed no matter the time of day or night. Suggested checks for incoming guests: - Ensure the domestic water is working at start of rental in case it is shut-off - Check that all air-conditioners/fans work as there are "quirks" to operating some of them.
