Villa Mediterranea

The location is perfect, far from the noise but close to main cities and roads. The host was very friendly, accessible and responsive. The house had all the amenities necessary, specially air conditioning, which was important for the hot days that we were in.

Property was difficult to find, especially more so at night. The address 54 Strada Provenciale 63 on the Booking.com confirmation was actually for another property across the road. We got to the address, but was stumped, there's no way to turn into any house. If you're heading from the airport, it is actually on the left side of Road 63, across from this address, you will need to turn in a narrow gravels road, going far in uphill, then road winds to the left & up further past other houses gates, then through to the Villa Mediterranea gate. Parking uphill, need to maneuver tight area to turn around each time we need to go out. Our big group had 2 cars, yikes! Though the host was super friendly & patient, the language barrier made communication difficult, especially when we were lost while looking for the property at night, no street lights, pitch dark, we were right around there but couldn't see any clear sign where to turn. Future guests should plan to arrive before dusk so that your check-in experience will be less grueling. It was early April, but we fortunately had sunny warm weather during our 4 days stay, though it can be drafty & very chilly early morning & evening. Overall, our time at the villa was good. The host was was very accommodating.

beautiful home with incredible views of the bay. love the attention to detail and the extra touches of little sweet treats, a breakfast pastry, and still and sparkling water in the fridge on arrival. everything here was comfortable and relaxing

we loved it all, but if you don’t have transport then it’s a long walk down to the beach (we hired a scooter and this was perfect)

Ants find their way in - but that’s to be expected with such good weather.

The property is super clean, it has a fantastic view over Scopello and Castellammare del Golfo. You can walk down to the sea in few minutes. The host also offered us some cassatella at our arrival, super!

The street to the house is not very comfortable with car but it’s worth the view
