The property is even better than the photos. Beds were comfortable, the place is clean, the hosts are fantastic! It was the perfect way to start our holiday. Please note: this is a rural area and ants and geckos are to be expected. There is a Warung just down the road called Green Kitchen Cooking, which offers great food and cooking classes. There is a lovely circular walk through the flower fields, around a local village and back. Takes about one hour. Can always be extended to include another village! One thing to note is: booking.com show this property in a different location. It is not near Sandag Hill, it is near Green Kitchen, and Ravelyn House. Walking to Sidemen is not an option, as it is a long way and the roads are steep and windy.

The location was absolutely stunning. We were amazed by the amount of space. Yet the couple who run it keep it sort of quiet and simple, which we could really appreciate. Mrs Ketut cooked nice meals (only a few things on the menu, but all good) and Mr Ketut drove us to several places. He also arranged a taxi to the airport. There is no airco but it was cool at night and very quiet. If you want to go elsewhere for dinner on some nights, the Natya River Resort is recommended.

If you are a nature lover this is the place to be. Located in Sidemen with the most fantastic hosts. The view is unspeakable and you can feel the serenity of the place. The only sounds you will hear are from nature. The breakfast was exactly what you need to start your day and if you are looking what to eat for dinner, the hostess cooks amazing, so you should definitely ask for the in house options. They made sure everything was tidy and clean daily, so do not be alarmed when you see insects, the place is near the Jungle and that is to be expected! The host Katut offers also transfer services and can show you anything you want at the side of Sidemen. One of the group had their birthday and they even prepared an offering to their gods, which was really special! Overall it offers the perfect balance of relaxation with hints of their culture! We were emotional leaving the place, we thank them so much for their hospitality!
