This house was absolutely wonderful and had everything we could possibly need for a fantastic stay. It was fully equipped, including ample parking and a great kitchen, plus two cozy bedrooms. What made the experience truly special was the traditional Japanese style of the house, where we slept comfortably on authentic futon beds. We especially loved the outdoor space, which had tables equipped with a built-in BBQ, similar to what you find in some restaurants in Japan. One evening, we bought meat and prepared a wonderful family dinner right there. Although we didn't meet the owner in person, their communication and helpfulness were truly outstanding. They were a wonderful host and even went above and beyond by sending us a medicine we had accidentally left behind. We wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment: This place is simply perfect! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable Japanese getaway.

The river surrounds the house, and you can see it and hear it from most windows (specially the room) It's really peaceful, I slept like a baby here. The futons were very comfortable and the place spacious. It's a little away from the center, but because of that really peaceful and at one end of the philosophers path, so: good place to rest and do some wander through the temples and green areas.

Las camas en el suelo no nos resultaron cómodas, pero bien.

Modern (practicle) but old fashion (futon). Large kitchen available and a very good japanese-style barbeque.

Simplemente excepcional, sin duda volveré de nuevo en mi próximo viaje a Japón. El lugar es alucinante, te sumerges en una verdadera casa tradicional, las instalaciones son muy cómodas y la zona de alrededor muy relajante; recomiendo mucho visitar los alrededores, hay mapas en la calle que te indican lugares de interés. Para llegar al alojamiento, cogimos un taxi desde la propia estación de Takayama (pasan frecuentemente, no tuvimos ninguna reserva y Uber no funcionaba) debido a que teníamos muchas maletas; los siguientes días, hicimos un paseo de 20 minutos hasta el centro, el cual no se hace nada pesado, es peatonal y muy agradable, no hace el mismo calor que en otras ciudades como Tokyo. Además, el anfitrión nos hizo el favor de reservar un taxi que necesitábamos la mañana siguiente a las 7 am para irnos de nuevo con las maletas a la estación, y respondía a todas nuestras dudas muy rápido.

La barbacoa externa nos costó mucho encenderla, el mechero no tenía gas y tuvimos que ir a comprar otro al konbini más cercano (no está a más de 5 minutos). Aunque es intuitivo, si nunca has encendido una barbacoa del estilo, se hubiera agradecido tener instrucciones.

Logement très accessible en voiture. Situation au calme tout en étant proche de l’animation de la ville.

Tot i saber que era estil japonès vam trobar el dormitori i zona d’estar de l’allotjament potser una mica massa austers.
