Praia Miramar - Villa in Miramar, Panaji with free Parking

We came to Panaji for my husband and step-son to race in the Ironman 70.3 triathlon in October. We needed somewhere to stay near the race hub so this fitted the bill perfectly. Ten minutes walk to Miramar beach and ten minutes walk the other way to some food shops. Also very close to the city centre. Rickshaws were plentiful and a cheap and easy way to go further afield. The house is in a quiet, residential road. It is very spacious with modern facilities. It is very clean. The key box system was good and meant we didn't have to carry keys with us. Downstairs has a great kitchen with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, two sinks in separate areas, water filter machine and separate washing machine and dryer. There is a table to seat four people. The house has three large double bedrooms (two upstairs, one downstairs), all with modern ensuite bathrooms. Each room has full aircon and ceiling fans. There is a large sitting room area with two comfy sofas and some chairs, with a new huge screen tv where you can watch Netflix, Amazon etc (using your own log in). This downstairs area also had full aircon and ceiling fans. There was a roof terrace to sit out, and clothes airer to dry clothes outside on the terrace. The wifi was excellent throughout our stay, and there are loads of plug sockets so there always seems to be one wherever you need one (European two pin style plugs worked fine). Security guard lived on the premises (separate entrance) and was really helpful and nice. The agent for the house came to meet us and could not have been more helpful or kind to us during our stay. Would highly recommend this property if you need to be in that area. Also, the Marriott is down the road, as is the Gaspar Tennis Club. Both do good food and have pools where you can pay for a day pass. Other restaurants are nearby. The beaches were closed for swimming when we were there. There was also a stall at the end of the road selling delicious freshly made Pakoras in bread buns.

We all found the beds too hard! Softer matresses would be a good idea. Sometimes using one of the upstairs showers tripped all the electrics in the entire house, so we stopped using the shower in there, which was a shame. I gather someone will be looking at the electrics soon. The garden could be tidied up a bit so it could be used to sit out.
