Absolute Beachfront Private Villa sleeps 6 with Infinity Pool on 1200m2 of Tropical Land

The villa is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, right by the sea. The pool was lovely, the setting was perfect for a relaxing family holiday, and the host was friendly and responsive via WhatsApp.

Some practical things could be improved — like having more info in advance about food and transport options and a lock on the gate. We also felt a bit misled by the snorkeling and driver arrangements, which lacked clear communication and flexibility in our opinion.

This villa is located in a little slice of heaven just north of Tulamben village. It met every expectation. The design of the grounds was great with various spots to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was very well set up with a great fridge/freezer, cutlery, plates, cooking utensils and fresh water from a bottle. Oka and his team did a wonderful job keeping the villa clean and were not intrusive. Oka and driver, Kadek were easy to get hold of via WhatsApp to organise transport. The pool was fantastic and was the perfect place to be when returning from a day trip. This place was so peaceful and relaxing I do hope I get to return there soon.

I only have two issues. We had breakfast cooked on the first morning after our arrival. The quality was not great, so we opted to eat out for the rest of the trip. The airconditioner in the second main bedroom resulted in condensation building up on the walls which led to water dripping on the floor making it very slippery. This only happened on the last night of our stay. I'm sure it will be easily fixed. Other than that, this villa is a great place to stay.

The view, it was superb & so nice.

Being in Asia, especially in Bali, to our surprise, the bathroom lacked bidet.

Starting with the pick-up at the airport where all six of us plus luggage were driven to the villa we felt comfortable and welcome. Oka (villa-manager) and his team are great and asissted with everything we needed whilst our 2 weeks stay at Lali Jiwa. The property is as beautiful as seen on the pictures. Everything is in good condition and very clean and tidy. The rocky, black beach, (like most beaches in the north of the island) is not suitable for a towel, but since the villa is in ablolute beachfort location, this is not neccessary. Having huge coral reefs and a ship wreck directly at the villa, snorkeling is an absolute highlight there. (We saw turtles, little sharks, and heeps of colorful fish directly infront of the villa) For transportation Oka can arragne a driver, which brings you everywhere for a decent prize, or you can rent a scooter (also just ask Oka), which is also a nice way to explore the island. Tulamben is a nice, quiet village with some little shops, but not very touristic (besides many diving resorts) We can absolutely recommend a stay there, when you are up to diving and snorkeling and having a private, luxorious and relaxing stay.

Where do I even start? Firstly, the pictures of the villa are amazing but when you get there you're blown away by how beautiful it all is. It's even better than the pictures. Secondly, the staff make your stay a wonderful experience. Oka and his team are incredibly helpful. When we got there, Oka told us "welcome home", and it really did feel like home for the few days we were there, as you're left alone to relax and make what you want of your stay. Made, the gardener, is there every day to tidy up and clean the pool, and is a very lovely and friendly person. Iluh the housekeeper does an amazing job of cleaning the villa and the rooms. Kadek picked us up from our previous hotel and drove us to Tulamben, picking a lovely spot to have lunch and friendly conversation along the way. It was my husband's birthday while we were there, and Oka arranged with Iluh to get a cake and candles for a lovely surprise. Iluh also arranged to pick up some fresh fruit for us from the market. Oka helped us arrange a snorkelling trip over the liberty wreck, and massages at the villa too. There's also snorkelling masks provided at the villa for you to snorkel just outside the property which is a nice touch. The beach is rocky so may not be suitable for children or those with mobility issues, it can be a little tricky getting in and out of the sea so going in at high tide is recommended. It's a 10-20 minute walk into the main part of Tulamben where there are a few shops, warungs, restaurants and dive centres. Highly recommend Wayan Restaurant which also delivers to the villa, as well as Bali Reef restaurant if you're heading out. The sunrise views are incredible, if you are up early enough you can see the boats heading out too just as light is breaking. I can't express just how relaxing our stay was at Lali Jiwa Villa, I only wish we had stayed longer.

Everything! The villa looks amazing in the photos, but we were still blown away when we walked in and saw it in person. It was absolutely perfect for us and exceeded our expectations. Oka, Made and Iluh are incredible, so kind, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, they made our stay even better. We had dinner catered at the villa and it was the best meal we had in Tulamben, you're missing out if you don't do it. We can't recommend Lali Jiwa enough, we would come back here every year if we could.

There's nothing to dislike about Lali Jiwa.

Oka is an exceptional host just like his villa! We just regret not having booked more days!
