Roberts’ Cottage

We loved the feeling of being in a cabin on the mountain/in the woods.. very atmospheric. In an amazing location so close to Westport but so tranquil with it's own beautiful grounds to explore. Cottage had everything we needed and more.. our children loved their cute twin beds.

Everything was perfect.

Loved pretty much everything about our stay at Roberts Cottage, we are definitely hoping to be able to come back and stay again.

Only down side was trying to manage the temperature at night when it was really cold outside but this was only a problem because we had our little one still in a travel cot. The other beds all had electric blankets so most people shouldnt have any issue with it

Excellent little cottage in lovely quiet location. Everything that you could need. Fresh flowers around the place, milk and cake to welcome. It was a lovely find to arrive at on my birthday.

An exceptional property because of the brilliant and very kind host, Breda; spotlessly clean cottage that is full of character and beautifully styled, joyful, comfortable, and relaxing; stunning views from the windows and patio of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick; easy drive to Westport and surrounding area; great area for hiking, cycling, and exploring; and I also appreciated the great peacefulness I experienced there, night and day.

There was no part of my experience at Roberts Cottage that I didn't like.

Beautiful location with wonderful views of Clew Bay. Very peaceful and the cottage was well kitted out and comfortable. We had a warm welcome from Breda, the property manager who was very helpful.

The cottage is located up a private access road. The road itself is very bumpy and had to be driven on slowly so it didn’t damage the car wheels.

Everything! If you get a chance, stay here. one of the best places we have ever stayed. We wanted to live here for six months!

The house is terrific! Well organized, comfortable beds, great shower - all the amenities needed to stay comfortably and even cook. Super warm at night (def a plus) and with breath talking views! Breda was super easy to contact and very welcoming! Fresh flowers in alm rooms, milk, chocolate and cupcakes for us at arrival. I can't compliment this stay well enough! Hoping I can arrange to be back in a few months!
