Villa Clara Premium by Sunny Deluxe

We were happy overall with the property. It had plenty of room for our 12 guests and was reasonably well equip. The location was great and only a short walk from the bars and beach.

The door out into the patio area doesn't lock properly. There was a lot of ants around the pool. Also we were out in the garden and the spinklers came on and soaked everyone! Either do that over night or tell the guests when its going to be. You need to sort out the hot water situation, mostly the showers were cold if more than one person was using it.

It is in a quiet street but close to shops and restaurants, and only a brief walk to some amazing beaches.

We had a few issues during our stay but the management team at Sunny Deluxe have been very responsive. Since our return, they have even sent me photographs showing improvements they have made as a result of our feedback.

Location - lots of bedrooms, pool was lovely, lots of sunloungers and other chairs to sit on!

More large mugs for cups of tea would have been good :)

The place was relatively clean but expected more. Was a broken door in the room with a balcony with smashed glass and some glass on the floor. Was rubbish from previous stayers under the bed meaning this wasn’t cleaned. There was some glass around the pool where some of us ended up getting it stuck in our feet. No tissue / kitchen paper available. The bedrooms in the bottom floor were damp and cold. Overall was okay but wouldn’t stay here again.

The upstairs of the property was fabulous. The bedrooms were big, and comfortable. The view was lovely into the back yard.

The bedroom on the main floor, smelled damp. It had peeling paint on the wall, mould on the wall and had some sort of fungi growing on the ceiling. I send photos to the person who messaged me about picking up the keys, but it was ignored. My rating is also coming up as 5 star even tho I said I was dissatisfied with almost everything.

There was only 1 set of keys between 15 of us the key didn’t work most of the time.for the main gate. We got charged for not taking the rubbish out when they said there was a container outside but there wasn’t so we left it by the door very nicely. We got charged €40 for a frying pan because it apparently it was damaged but it was only dirty because it wasn’t a non stick pan and stuff got stuck on it but €40 for a pan is not on. Only 1 person could have a shower at a time due to not having enough hot water for more than 1 shower. There was a bath in one of the rooms and didn’t come with a bath plug and the jets wasn’t working. THERE IS NO HOT TUB they call the bath a hot tub in one of the bedrooms. The company who run it was not very helpful when they asked us if we needed anything to help us with our stay and I messaged saying we need bigger towels and a bath plug but nothing happened not even a reply.
