Villas Mar e Brisa

Everything was perfect, nice and spacious, very clean. We will be returning!

The property is spacious with plenty of seating areas and sun beds for a big group. There is a pool table, which was great fun. The inside is nicely furnished with modern furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is a great place to spend time as a group, the sofa is big and comfy.

The property needs updating. The bathrooms are old and the shower heads need replacing. The bedroom doors upstairs get stuck so you can’t open them. The cleaning tools such as mop etc were old and rusty. The kitchen is old and the paint is flaking off the tiles.

Size and spacious. Kitchen very well equipped.

Grounds not cleaned, very dirty. Sharp metal bits left -dangerous for young children. Broken umbrella lying on floor. Pool and villa in need of refurbishment. Beds very hard. No welcome pack and no information pack. No communication from host after arrival.

Great Villa, good location and clean with 4 large bedrooms (although beds very hard) and 4 bathrooms. Pool table was a def plus when u have teenagers. Marina and Old Town 10 mins away using Bolt. Supermarket 5 mins walk. Food recommendations include cafe at the roundabout, cafe at supermarket, Fusion and Italian (take a right at main entrance) and steak /fish restaurant to the left of the roundabout. The beach is really good. All in all a lovely part of Portugal and we would return.

Issue with downstairs toilet which took a few days to fix. I would also ask they have the pool cleaned more frequently. Only once during our visit and couldn't be used for last 2 days of holiday as wasn't clean. Also as some of the other reviewers mentioned , bring ur basics such as tea bags, sugar, salt, dish cloth etc. There is nothing at the villa. A welcome pack would be most beneficial even with a charge.

Large spacious villa with a absolutely beautiful garden and a pool table that kept myself and the kids occupied. The pool was lovely. Three bedrooms upstairs all had their own bathroom and one bedroom downstairs with a separate bathroom. All the bedrooms were large. I was travelling with two families (4 adults and 4 kids), and we felt that the villa was spacious. My little ones were not feeling well and the host with no additional charge allowed us a later check-out which was great!

I have always booked Villas via Air BnB and found that cleaning supplies and toilet rolls were always present. When we arrived at the villa all the bathrooms had one toilet roll(which looked like half a loo roll fyi), and was advised there is no spares. Also in the kitchen no basics like tea coffee sugar, these to me are just basics and I have stayed in many villas in Europe. No dishwasher tablets, sponge to clean the kitchen surfaces etc. So all in all it was a bit silly as we had to go shopping for everything... toilet rolls, sponges to clean, dishwasher tablets...washing machine powder...cleaning spray etc etc. This is the first time I have booked via booking.com so perhaps this is how it is but was slightly disappointed with the NO basic amenities, NO cleaning supplies and NO toilet roll. Also the pool got very dirty so you have to be able to work out how to clean the pool. The kitchen and bathrooms are extremely dated the rest of the Villa is fab but the kitchen and bathrooms need a uplift.

We were very impressed by the villa. It was clean, spacious and the pool table was a huge additional plus. Great swimming pool, lots of seating areas and sun loungers and a built in outdoor bbq. The property manager was very responsive when a faulty toaster kept blowing the fuse and replaced it within 24hrs.

The beds were a little hard but it’s difficult to find any fault with the villa. The location was perfect for us travelling in a large family group with kids but it is about 10 mins by taxi from Albufeira town.

Great property, 3 bedrooms upstairs had own bathrooms and the one downstairs had a shower room nearby. Also had plenty of outdoor seating areas. A well furnished property, really enjoyed our stay. Ideal location with lovely beaches nearby.

There wasn't a lot of hot water but put that down to the property not being occupied for a while and being Feb. I'm sure if contacted owner it may have been sorted as questions were answered promptly

Villa has all you need in it for a weeks vacation, cooker, fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine etc, ( take your own soap powder, dish tablets, toilet roll, bin bags Etc.) All rooms fitted with Air conditioning units. Pool was cleaned twice in the week we stayed there. Pool towels provided. Large Supermarket (Aldi) within 20minute walk and local supermarket within 10 minute walk. Beach, Pubs, Restaurants all close by Our host Jose was always very friendly and even called after the holiday to make sure we returned home safely.
