Villa Mikael - Free Wi-Fi - Aircon - Private Pool by bedzy

This property was a little gem for us. We had read the reviews and as with everyone (including this) I took them with a pinch of salt.. A great location with a large supermarket 5-10 mins walk. Ubers very cheap to go into town etc. A fab place to chill and relax. I would definitely book again if we go as a family...

Now the bad parts, the aircon did not work in two bedrooms, the owner did try his best to fix for us but unfortunately could not so this was a little hot in the rooms in question. The oven controls could not be read as they have rubbed off but we managed to work them out. The Wi-Fi is not free and several of the sunbeds were broken along with not enough dining chairs outside... but these can be easily sorted for future guests.

The pool was lovely as was so warm,.very well stocked kitchen. Near the large shop also for fresh bread Owners were very attentive when messaged about any issues.

Air conditioning in one of the upper rooms wasn't the best, awkward angle for the two single beds. Had to sleep downstairs.

Nice spacious villa, ideal for a large family holiday with young children. Garden area and pool good size. We took inflatables and pool toys for the kids but also good size for swimming. Nice situation in a quiet suburban area. 5 minutes walk to a large , excellent Intermarche . 15 mins walk to a super playpark for the kids. Used taxis which were cheap and very quick to go to the marina and old town . Visited zoomarine, easy taxi ride again. When we ran into one or two wee problems the hosts were very quick to reply to a message and fix things. For example the wifi wasn't working but it was fixed and we asked for some more outdoor chairs for the outdoor table and these were delivered the next day.

Wifi wasn't the best but ok. Could only get local channels on tv but that wasn't really a problem as we had no time to watch it anyway. Half of the sun loungers could do with being replaced. Could have done with some more mugs, otherwise really everything was excellent.

We recently stayed in this villa, as soon as we arrived it just looked and felt unprepared. The villa is not well equipped nor was it clean when we arrived. We felt as though no one had been in this villa for months before we arrived. The following items were completely broken/did not work, the washing machine door, two sunbeds, plastic chairs felt very unstable, certain light switches and plugs didn’t work, the upstairs bedroom on the right has a broken shower holder so we were having to hold the shower head, locks on bedroom and en-suite doors did not work. It lacked in a ‘luxury homely feel’ the sofa was awfully uncomfortable, there are no full length mirrors in the villa, the small side lights in the living room didn’t work, the villa massively lacked outside seating, the beds were really uncomfortable as they are memory foam you felt like were dipping in the middle of the bed, the water pressure was awful, you couldn’t all shower at the same time as one would go off when the other was switched on. The cleanliness of the villa was outrageous, one of beds in the upstairs bedroom had dirty slept in bedding sheets which was changed straight away but still, swimming pool was constantly dirty from the overhanging tree, we saw the pool man come round 3 times throughout the week, the bbq was really unclean, the outside shower was disgusting it had over hanging bushes. The cups and glasses are a complete mismatch in the kitchen and were all very dirty! Despite all of this, the location is fantastic! Supermarket is a 5 minute walk away, both new and old town are 10 minutes away in a taxi. And the size of the villa is adequate for 10 people, I think it’s brilliant that all the bedrooms bar one have en-suites.

Location very good, as well as the cleanliness and size of the pool. Overall a lovely villa which is very spacious and provided all of the facilities we required.

One of the bathroom's shower heads was disconnected from the wall upon arrival so one person had to use someone else's shower. Also, showers upstairs go extremely cold when other people are using them. Multiple sunbeds were also broken upon arrival.

The Area mainly, but the property itself was comfortable

There was ants everywhere, mainly toilets, the plumbing and water wasnt always working as intended, but always worked in the end, there was a few things either missing or broken but not enough to cause issues with the stay. There was lack of instruction on how to turn the alarm off
