It is very isolated and you will need a car to get around but we knew this when we booked.

"Large, well equipped villa in a picturesque region, with adequate access to popular tourist spots"

The scenery here is gorgeous. It was a perfect quiet area for our family to enjoy. Although it is isolated, this is perfect for a relaxing trip. I would warn though, that the villa is in a mountainous region, so may not suit all abilities, and there is a steep drive into the courtyard. The owners are super attentive. We had no issues, but they were available if anything were to crop up. The villa has all the necessary amenities, and the pool and bbq area are fantastic for a fun, self-catering trip. Big supermarkets are within a 25-minute drive, and Nerja and Malaga are nearby (40ish minutes). The WiFi and air-conditioning were good, there are plenty of rooms and beds and lots of outside space.

"Excellent stay :)"

Excellent villa with a great eating and bbq area. Very quiet and beautiful views. A short drive to Almachar village. Antonio the host was very good. Provided cot and high chair as requested. Lots of fridge/freezer space.

Nothing, we are considering booking again next year. A better kettle is a small suggestion.

Very very bad furniture, all the light in the house was not working, there was no light around the pool or in the garden,

Very clean, well equipped, lots of facilities and Antonio was absolutely fantastic.

The only negative I could mention is the location of the villa. Whilst it’s in a great spot and the views are spectacular you would certainly need a vehicle of some sort in order to get around.
