Narcissos Villa

Well-invested house with all the mod cons. Lovely views of the sunset high up on a hill. Quiet location.

Needed to drive a lot to get provisions. No bars or restaurants within walk

The light in the bathroom was a bit dim

This property is exceptional. The pool and the views are magnificent and the property has everything you need including comfortable beds. The host had provided some supplies for breakfast the next day so that we did not have to go out immediately to buy food. It was very much appreciated. We would return in a heartbeat.

Our only slight problem was finding it initially as there is no signage. I missed the message on WhatsApp from the host with the instructions because I was expecting to see a message on Booking.com. Once I accessed WhatsApp everything was very clear including a video.

Might have been helpful to know there is building work nearby. We didn’t mind but some customers might find the noise a concern.

We had such a wonderful stay at Narcissos Villa - it was exactly as pictured and the beautiful view is hard to put into words. Maria was an excellent host, great communication on arrival and throughout the week. She organised mid-week cleans and sheet/towel changes for us, and there was a welcome hamper waiting for us. The house itself has everything that you need and more, and is set in beautiful grounds. You're only a 10 minute drive from Argostoli and all the shops & restaurants there, but there are also plenty of other great spots within 5 minutes or so, and a supermarket. Kefalonia is not so big so day trips over to Fiskardo and Assos are easily done from the villa. We'd love to stay at Narcissos again!

A car is essential for staying here - not a negative as there's private parking for the villa, but just don't be fooled by Booking.com saying that it's a 20-minute walk to the shop etc. It might be downhill but definitely not back up! A little more shade on the terrace would also be nice for when the heat gets a bit much.
