Villa Ruby Yiasemina

Really spacious villa with a big pool. Had all the necessities that you needed. Great location, quiet area but only a 5 minute drive from the town centre.

We booked this villa not only because of proper amount of bedrooms, but we saw on pictures that it was supposed to have two arcade games, snooker and a table tennis. In fact, both of the arcades were broken, snooker wasn’t there and a table tennis was a half of a regular size. But unfortunately it is just the beginning. Just after entering the house we were welcomed by the cockroach. In the downstairs bedroom there was a lot of ants, which came into the bed during the night forcing the couple staying there to move to the living room. In the same bedroom and its bathroom was A LOT of fungus on the wall, ceiling and even in the wardrobe. It smelled very bad. The reason for that is because the water from the A/C outside is leaking straight into the wall where the bedroom is located. After reporting ants and cockroach situation to the host, he arrived and managed to eliminate the ants. After spraying over the bedroom with all the belongings inside with the cockroach spray, other 3 big cockroaches ran out from under the wardrobe and other places. We were apologized with the eggs packed into the plastic bag “from the host’s farm” which had a stamps on it. Windows were very dirty. On the second floor, where the cleaning access is difficult the windows were the dirtiest I saw in my life. The situation was critical and it was the first time ever that I considered contacting Booking and request for instant moving to a hotel or other villa. We know that cockroaches can enter the house by windows left open, but ants were the result of not cleaning the villa properly. Also the fungus on the walls which was caused by a bad A/C water channeling should be fixed because it seemed the problem was there a long time ago. It was really unfair that the host showed pictures of things (arcades, snooker, table tennis) which were not available to use during the stay. We’re shocked that the rating of villa is so high. We were moved to another villa the third day after our intervention

The Villa is immaculate with great facilities and a short drive from all the major attractions. The hosts were also amazing, accommodating our stay by ensuring we had everything on hand during our time at the Villa.
