Beds comfy The location (in theory)

Fridge and microwave had a few splash remnants from previous occupants. Stale smell on entering but okay once in the rest of the space (I bought air freshener whilst there) I think it’s the doormats/ rugs which will have been wet over time and it’s that undried and left smell that can happen if you don’t dry washing quickly enough. Seals on windows are not seals anymore with large gaps meaning that you hear outside noise/ traffic noise in the double bedroom as if you were outside. We tried to seal the gaps with clothes trapped in the frame. Now, human noise wouldn’t normally be a problem, we have stayed before in another lodge and found it peaceful but this lodge is waterside but you can’t enjoy the peace as the cabins behind this except 100 are rented out directly by the resort. We had a large group which had a party with multiple guests not staying on site, bringing and extra 8 cars and walking all around our cabin and sitting in front of it, spoiling any peace. They walked past the cabin loudly on mobile phones and there is no privacy as they head towards the water. The final point is that loud guests left at 1.45am and due to the poor window seals, we were woken. If you get respectful guests, it would be fine but we didn’t. We have previously visited another cabin in school holidays and it was nothing like this.

We liked the early check in thank you and being able to use the swimming pool on site. it was lovely to walk there. The lodge was warm, cosy and quiet. Very clean.

I like ironed bedding, the sheets are ready for renewing & pillows could have been better on the double bed. I like a soft pillow, it is difficult to please as everyone likes different ones!!

Very warm and cosy. Perfect size. Well equipped. Very peaceful.

Nothing to dislike. Would love to come back

Had been to Pine Lake years ago when it opened . Location fantastic, easy to find..lots to do ..and in the area..now has extra facilities..spa /pool .restaurant/bar Like to self cater , suit ourselves. All so much more up market than expected...from the kitchen amenities/ Bathroom .....comfy beds.. 2 tvs little touches like games/books/dvds to borrow
