"Great place but would not re book this lodge ."

We have stayed at pine lakes many times and thought it would be a good idea to try a private let. unfortunately the facility were of a less standard there fore we would not book private again.

no lock on the bathroom door. very small hard towels only one toilet roll. No taps on the bath no bath mat wrong wifi code on the information sheet . quite a stale smell in the lodge

The location was fab

The venue had major works being undertaken, restaurant had limited menu, leisure centre closed which the host had previously advised. Main problem was the heating we stayed at the property for the majority of the time due to my daughter disabilities and found the owners control the heating from an app. Whilst quick to respond in the afternoon and got the heating running, early morning hours the property was just too cold which probably won't be a problem for those that stay in bed till 8am however I am up from 5 and with it being February froze n I didn't feel appropriate to disturb. When heating is on it is fab.

Lodge was very comfortable, cosy and warm. Very good location, could not fault the lodge. Much more comfortable than other lodges we have stayed in on previous occasions.

Swimming pool closed on the Thursday (we arrived Weds and went home Friday). Poor weather on Thursday. Restaurant area lacked atmosphere, no music, very cold. Service was very slow. Restaurant not open for breakfast during our stay, advised to use motorway services down the road!
