Bij aankomst vertelde ze dat we maar twee kamers hadden in plaats van 4 naar lang overleg hadden we uiteindelijk toch de vier slaap kamers tot ons gebruik. Let hier op!!

Alles voorhanden wat we nodig hadden.

Zwembad was koud.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Iara in Cerveteri with friends. The villa has everything you need for both relaxation and exploring, we especially enjoyed the pool, the BBQ area, and the great location close to both Rome and the seaside. It was the perfect mix of unwinding by the villa and visiting nearby historical sites. Communication with Vanessa and Pina was excellent throughout our stay. On our last day, they even arranged a taxi to the airport for us, which ended up being cheaper than the ride we had booked on arrival, a really thoughtful touch. Overall, a beautiful place with a very helpful host. Highly recommended!

The only small downside — which isn’t related to the villa itself — was figuring out local bus tickets in Cerveteri and Ladispoli. It was a bit unclear where to buy them. You can get them at tobacco shops or directly from drivers, but there’s no option to pay by card on the bus, and the mobile app didn’t work for us. Not a big issue, just something to keep in mind if you plan to use public transport.

Liked the layout of villa and pool. Plenty of towels. Lots of space. Enjoyed using the BBQ. Useful being near shops and a bus stop.

Would have liked an electric kettle. Couldn't use the ironing board in utility without taking the adapter from the coffee maker from the kitchen There were millions of ants. The fridges in the rooms were very noisy. We thought there should be yellow warning strip on raised ledge by gate to prevent tripping. Would hae been useful to have information about using local public transport, especially info on how to travel to Rome.
