Disappointed and Misled by the Condition of the Property Unfortunately, our experience at this property did not meet expectations. The pictures online were very misleading, making the house appear clean and well-maintained. However, upon arrival, we found quite the opposite. The home was not properly cleaned. The walls showed visible scuffs and signs of wear and tear, baseboards were dirty, and kitchen cabinets had food stains—there was even a bug hanging from the counter. Oven mitts were stained, and the stove had a dirty, overused tray that hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The dining chairs were covered in food residue and grime. The living room pillows were worn out, with fuzzy balls and pink stains that remained even after we attempted to wash them. The pool was full of bugs and old toys, clearly not cleaned before our arrival. While the host did mention the pool cleaner comes weekly, they hadn’t come before we got there. He offered to send them out, but by the time they could come, we would have already been gone. In one of the master bedrooms, the sink stopper was broken, causing water to pool in the sink rather than drain. The toilet seat was also old and discolored. While most of the toilets had the standard sanitary strip indicating they had been cleaned and were ready for use, one did not—and it smelled as if someone had just used it before we arrived. The shower had leftover hair in it, which was extremely off-putting. In the second master bedroom, the bed sheets were stained. It honestly seemed like the cleaning staff had simply flipped the fitted sheet over instead of changing or properly washing it. This raised major concerns about the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the home. After an 8-hour drive, we were hoping to arrive and relax. Instead, we had to clean the house ourselves just to feel comfortable enough to unpack. I called the host and explained the situation.

Beautiful house, liked that the pool was enclosed and the many bedrooms.

Great location. Beautiful neighborhood and perfect size pool. Layout is perfect for 2 families with kids. Host was quick to respond and did accommodate an early check in.

House could use a deep cleaning. Lots of dust built up on vents. Several lamps weren't working. Minor but would have made the stay better.
