Elafonisi Villa above the Beach

Extraordinary view of the bay of Elafonisi which we visited twice then preferring Kedrodasos Beach. Kosmos Taverna superb and they treated us very well as daily lunch visitors.

The worn out toilet facilities could use an upgrade.

The location and the view from the balcony are UNBELIEAVABLE it's a bit of a hike from the villa but you get to a secluded beach and be all on your own This was the best part of the stay I also enjoyed the solitude but some people might find it a bit remote from the village and the tavernas Night skies are amazing

Bathroom was moldy and INFESTED with cockraches. Couldn't use it blocked the slit under the door and had to take showers on the balcony Couldn't leave anything on the kitchen surface - tiny ants came out immediately and covered ALL my food in a second, even found their way into the plastic bag I kept the bread in. Pests A/C in bedroom is too small and weak for the size of the room. during the day I had to keep it in max power and lowest temprature and still it wasn't enough No A/C AT ALL in the main leaving room facing the Sea. The view from this room is great but you just can't stay there as it is practicaly a scorching greenhouse most of the day All the taps and faucets are old and in need immediate renovation

Location is perfect! Nice and secluded except goats! Amazing sunset and starry nights.

I think it is little pricier for what it is. But no complaints, if you want privacy this is it.

we had our best time!! it’s totally privat, and the goats around are stunning 🐐 we absolutely loved every second of our stay! we will definitely go back soon💕

If anyone wants to stay in Elafonisi, which might be one of the best 10 beaches in the world and top 3 in Greece, this is the villa to book. George the host was lovely, and the villa itself is absolutely in the best possible location with the most spectacular view. At the end of a long day at the beach, there's nothing like going up to the villa, opening a cold beer or bottle of wine, and taking a bath on its balcony while watching the sunset. its location is well worth the money, and effort necessary to make it to Elafonisi. In fact, if you stand on the beach, this is probably the only villa that you will actually see from the beach.

This villa is a bit of a waste on families, and I'd recommend it mostly for couples, but although we had two small kids with us, it was very spacy and comfortable.

Best views you can imagine - during the day one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete, during the evening a lovely sunset, and at night a sky full of stars. The only sound you hear are friendly goats :) we had a fantastic, relaxing stay! The host was very helpful and pleasant as well. Absolutely recommend!

There were ants in the house but perhaps it is normal in such a remote location. The path towards the beach is not clear and takes more than 30mins, pity that it is not indicated even symbolicaly. Better to drive to the beach by car, which is not a major issue as there is a free parking.

It is a paradise! The location is unique, really above the beach! You can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and the stars at night, the nature, the silence and the quiet. A truly unique experience! George, the owner, is so nice, very kind and he meets all our requests.

We were 4 adults and there is only one bedroom with air conditioner. Then there are 2 sofa-beds, one in the main bedroom and the other one in the living room. It is fine, but maybe more suitable for a family or a couple.

The villa is unique- there are few places to stay near the beach in the area and the villa offers amazing views of the beach and surrounding areas. It feels very remote but, in reality, it’s only a short drive to the lagoon and nearby tavernas. Some other reviews have said the drive is tricky but we managed it easily in a rented Fiesta!! Our children loved seeing the goats around the property and having an outdoor bath at sunset!! Staying at the villa was a real highlight of our trip travelling around the island. George is also a fantastic host!
