Nisala Villas

It was wonderful to have a private pool and good food served on our private terrace. The beach was just a tuktuk away. The staff were very helpful.

Everything... It is such a beautiful villa.. Very romantic, peaceful, and an amazing place to relax. The space is large as described in the pictures. The location is perfectly nested in the village, white its a 10 min walk through the rice fields to the beach. We were there for 4 days. The breakfast was fantastic each day. We also had dinner at the villa. It was a great meal. The beds were the best i have encountered in any hotel - we had the best sleep during our 6 week vacation at this hotel. Sameera the owner is very accommodating, super polite and very responsive. Hashan was the resident butler - we asked for so many things and he was so happy to help. He was very polite and genuinely enthusiastic to help. We will definitely be back every time we visit Sri Lanka.

I can’t rate Nisala Villas highly enough. From the moment I booked, the customer service was excellent, with any queries I had responded to quickly and efficiently. And as soon as I arrived, it was clear everything would not only meet but also exceed any expectations. The location is, in my opinion, perfect - slightly inland in a stunning, quiet setting, but just 5 minutes in a tuk tuk to the beach, bars, restaurants, etc (or a lovely 20 minute walk). The villa itself was of the highest standard, incredibly clean and well presented, with everything you need and more. The pool was also lovely and clean, and such a luxury to have. I needed to work during my stay, and the wi-fi was excellent - and even when a huge storm took it out, a back-up was set up straight away so I was still able to take a meeting that I had scheduled. The service I received throughout my stay - which I ended up extending from 7 nights to 9 - cannot be faulted. Hashan was my butler, and he was extremely helpful, kind, respectful and accommodating, and ensured I was happy and comfortable the whole time. On top of that, the food was delicious and prepared to your liking, at the time of your choosing. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, as a woman staying alone, I felt completely safe and comfortable at all times, which is priceless. I will definitely be coming back to Nisala Villas next time I am in Hikkaduwa, and I’ll also be recommending it to friends and family - having spent time in the area many times before, it is without a doubt the best place I have stayed in.

Beautiful room - perfect for relaxing. Wonderful private pool, breakfast delivered to your villa and adapted to your taste, butler on call for all your needs. Nice location set back from the noisy streets about 15 min walk to the beach.

Everything was just like perfect…this place is quiet, absolutely green tropical surrounding. The villas design is modern, pure, awesome…the pool is great and has got the right size for two, even four. The owner is really a nice guy and the heart of the Nisala Villas is the staff Hashan. Thank you so much…you give the Villa heart and soul 🙏🏼

It‘s so sad that we could stay only 3 days 😉

We had a fantastic stay at Nisala Villas in Hikkaduwa. Hashan and the owner went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was taken care of. He was always available to help us out, from taking care of our laundry and to delivering a delicious breakfast. The villa itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a comfortable - highly recommended especially if you like be isolated in a relaxing place

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly - this is not a problem but sometimes you need it for travelling

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was taken care of, and we especially appreciated the exceptional service provided by Hashan. He was always available to help us out, from taking care of our laundry and buying motor oil for us to delivering a delicious breakfast and even providing sun mattresses for us to relax by the pool. The villa itself is stunning, with beautiful decor and a comfortable, cozy bed that made us feel right at home. We found everything we could ever need during our stay, making it a true home away from home. Overall, we would highly recommend Nisala Suites to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Hikkaduwa. The exceptional service provided by the staff, along with the stunning villa and beautiful surroundings, make for a truly unforgettable experience.

While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, there were no curtains for the windows which meant that the early morning light woke us up earlier than we would have liked. However, this did allow us to spend more time at the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the toilet did not have a ceiling which may not be to everyone's liking.

Amazing stay in Hikkaduwa, comfy, suitable for those who like more comfort and standard in countries like Sri Lanka. We enjoyed every minute of it ❤️
