The Old Manse, Loch Ness (highland-escape)

We had a fantastic stay at the Old Manse. We were a party of 10 and this was the beginning of our North Coast 500 cycling trip.

The house is spacious and comfortable.

Warm, comfortable and spacious

If I’m being picky the cooking pans weren’t very good for a large group but that’s not unusual. The dish washer didn’t work but the host very graciously supported by doing dishes and left us a bottle of bubbly to compensate.

It was spacious. Good size beds

Not able to walk from the home to the lack. Too risky due to heavy traffic and lack of footpaths

Simply amazing. Restful. Ideal for family time and close to a number of excursion opportunities. The property manager was phenomenal as well, so informative, thorough and attentive.

Amazing views on loch ness; tastefully decorated rooms; comfortable beds

Der var desværre strømnedbrud i 1,5 døgn pga storm. Huset havde ingen stearinlys, alternative lyskilder og begrænset brænde. Vi løste det og værten var meget hjælpsom.

Loved our stay. Great location. Iris was wonderful to deal with and help us along the way. Beautiful location.

The accomodation was not worth the price. The kitchen was not very well equipped with old pots and pans. The floor of the kitchen and some other areas of the house were very sticky. Limited quantity of towels.
