Didn’t like that we had to head home

A secluded and beautiful hotel with a serene, quiet atmosphere. The stunning hotel and amazing pool made for a perfect stay. The staff were very friendly. It's easy to bike to the main area. Highly recommend for a peaceful, quiet getaway! The air conditioning in the rooms was excellent, and the rooms themselves were breathtaking and beautiful.

Absolutely loved the hotel. Only issue was the sliding doors that lead to the outdoor shower and bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, it's a beautiful design and very private, but unfortunately, due to it being a sliding door between the room and the bathroom, mosquitoes easily found their way into the room, especially at night when we had lights on. The hotel kindly provided plenty of mosquito spray, and mosquitoes are expected anywhere you go. Just a little negative for someone who always gets bitten. I also don't know if this is the case for every room.

This is not a resort, THIS IS HELL! INSECTS EVERYWHERE, GETTING BITTEN BY MOSQUITOS ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT. WARNING *AVOID AT ALL COST* The staff were rude and threaten us to be detained by the immigration of Indonesia, the manager (in the photo) even called immigration. This rude and imbecile act was because we highlighted to them that they have an ongoing insect problem within their resort which they choose to let it be. There are mosquitoes, spiders as big as your hands and lizards just roaming freely, the beds had insect debris. We highlighted the insect issues as we were badly disturbed by mosquitoes throughout the night, constantly hearing mosquitoes buzzing by and getting bitten all over our face, ears arm whichever that was expose. It’s totally unliveable and their manager doesn’t even acknowledge, let alone have any sort of ability to handle such situations. Bali is prone to mosquitos but almost all villas have dealt properly but this ‘resort’ doesn’t even bother about you, total neglect of wellbeing. Because of this unwelcoming gesture, we were kicked out of our resort on our 5/6 day and our 2nd and 3rd day we stayed in another villa. We ended up only staying 2 out of 6 days. Simply horrible. The female manager in glasses (in the photo) was super rude to us, even traumatising us with threatening gesture. The manager cursed me and called us ‘crazy’ Look at the resort’s comment from my review, they continue to lie and even taunt me. Would u even trust these resort workers to assure a safe stay at their resort? Hope you stay safe and away from Umani Resort Bali! There are plenty of better properties who would sincerely take care of you other than Umani Resort. These people only ruin your holiday and treat you badly. Bali is full of friendly people but these are the 1% of sly people who would treat their guests in a horrible way. Sadly we had to experience this but hopefully you won’t have to after reading this review. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

A great place in middle of nature! Someone is different mind,…. I am sorry for you but in hospitality it’s a deluxe standard! Of course some services maybe are not perfect, but that would be hard complaining about small facts. I come back! The dream in the green.

The Villa was beautiful and spacious. The bed was comfortable and staff were extremely friendly and catered to our every need.

Beautiful hotel, stunning design, lovely staff, nice breakfast.

The mosquitos (in spite of using protection, keeping doors shut etc. I got lots of bites) - room design including the stunning garden bathroom makes it easy for mosquitoes to get in. Would have been great if it had a restaurant & bar that was open in the evening. The options in the absence of this were ordering food via Grab (which felt a bit soulless) or getting a taxi into town, however because the traffic was so heavy when I got there this was challenging - it took ages & bookings I made on the Gojek didn’t always get responded to.
