Mounty Island Villas Avra-Calma

We stayed in Avra, it was beautifully presented and the perfect space for us and 2 teens. They enjoyed the free wifi and tv with YouTube, we all enjoyed the private pool and privacy with a gorgeous view. Krystalenia was a fantastic host with some great tips for places to go on the island, which we would not otherwise have discovered. She was always on hand and personally replaced a broken toaster really quickly. The local town Lazarata has a good bakery and a couple of shops for basics. Location is remote so you need a car and some brave pills to drive the crazy mountain roads! We loved the villa and would definitely return.

There was some noise at night from local dogs, but this was of course totally out of the control of the villa. Expect some honey bees around the pool during hot days, they were not a problem for us.

Everything is perfect the host is very helpful and kind highly recomended

The villas are located in a very quiet area and the small cozy yard is a dream. Good air conditioning in all the rooms + living room. Krystalenia is extremely kind and always willing to help. We are looking forward to coming back to the accommodation.

The rooms and two of the bathrooms are quite small and it can get difficult to move around, but considering the fact that we did not spend a lot of time in our rooms, this was not a big issue.

The villas are very nicely designed, the landscaping in the garden looked beautiful, exactly like in the photos the hosts are very friendly and helpful near the villas are coffee shops and some tavernas the area is very quiet and peacefull, we felt like in the middle of a forest we had a beautiful stay!

if you think about renting the villas as a group, the walls are very thin and you have no privacy, you can hear even whispers from the other rooms the villas have each 3 bathrooms, but only one is ensuite in the room, the other 2 are in the hallway, one of them is really small the rooms are pretty small, but manageable

Beautiful apartment and surroundings. Well equipped with efficient air conditioning. Very friendly and helpful host. The apartment is in a very small village with 2 tavernas and a bakery. A car is necessary. It was a 30 minute drive to the nearest beach and we drove over 1 hour to Porto Katsiki. Great apartment for those looking for peace and privacy.

A minor drawback is the lack of a dishwasher.

Cozy, clean, beautiful Villa, with a mountain view in a quiet area. Best beaches reachable within 15-30 mind by car. We found everything we needed. Staff was great and helpful.
