Villa Fullos by Sealand Villas

Excellent location, large rooms, very clean, the photographs on booking.com don't do it justice

The location is amazing, beautiful views. It is just far enough away from the town to avoid people/noise, but not too far to enjoy what is a stunning town with fantastic places to eat and drink. The locals are incredibly friends and welcoming too. The property is very traditionally Spanish, it’s stunning, well maintained, spacious, and we particularly enjoyed the pool and BBQ area. This is perfect if you want a quiet romantic break, chilling by the pool, or a family self-contained holiday. We had everything we needed for our stay. We would say though, if you are arriving on a Sunday, almost all shops will be closed so you need to make sure you pick up some basic provisions en-route as there will be nothing at the property. We were surprised that there weren’t any basic supplies there like Bread/Milk/Butter, or that it wasn’t even an option (we would happily have paid extra for this). This would be useful, especially with international guests arriving late on Sunday’s. It would also be useful for a local guide of where to go and buy the basics.

The biggest issue, only reason score not a 10 and re-booked already, the overwhelming and putrid smell of cat urine at the property. Greeted with this on day one, with 10+ cat on property at main gate. This smell plagued us all week, got worse when the temperature went up wind blew. We alerted the property owner on day one. They stated they couldn’t do anything as they were ‘wild’ cats, however we found this strange as someone came to feed them each day, leaving large amounts of dry food for them, there was even a food bowl! As cat owners and lovers, in our opinion these seemed far too domesticated to be wild. Upon arrival at the location, you will see a large brown gate on the left, and a track on the right. There are two sings both saying ‘Fullos’. The track to the right for the Villa, the place you think you are looking for, is the wrong location. The access to the villa is via the large brown metal gate that slides open (it is also lockable using the main keys when you get them). The welcome pack needs better guidance, and the gate should be property marked to avoid confusion. The welcome email provided a ‘nearest’ location for rubbish. Please be aware that when you use the coordinates provided, this takes you to a sport centre with no specific facilities for dumping rubbish. What it did have is a small standard bin in the car park which isn’t suitable for binning household rubbish or waste. We would recommend a public recycling area which is about 4-5mins drive from the property at https://maps.app.goo.gl/SzAa2bXnWcGkyiL78. When we arrived, the weather was very cold and wet, and the central heating in the property was very temperamental, often not working. We were provided with one very small electric heater, but this only heats a small area. We were also woken up a few times with random plumbing noises, pipes etc. Inside was spacious, but it did smell musty, it would be helpful to air-out the property before arrival, possible using air fresheners.

Excellent location facilitating visits to local attractions including Pollenca (5 mins by car). Quiet and rural. Pool and gardens kept in great condition. Well equipped throughout and comfy beds. Would highly recommend a stay at Villa Fullos.

Minor points: meagre welcome pack - good plan to purchase tea, coffee, milk, salt & pepper en route. Disposal of rubbish to bins in town - no local collection. Beware of hiring wide bodied vehicle - narrow access routes bordered by dry stone walls.

Die Villa ist großzügig und verfügt über ein sehr gepflegtes Gelände inklusive Pool und mehreren Terrassen.

Da es mehrere Gebäude mit dem gleichen Namen auf dem Gelände gibt (was uns nicht bekannt war) und wir keine eindeutige Angabe zur Wahl des richtigen Tors hatten, waren wir in der Dunkelheit zunächst beim falschen Gebäude gelandet. Mitten in der Nacht war auch der Weg zum Haus nicht beleuchtet, was erschwerend hinzu kam. Der Code zum Schlüsselsafe funktionierte logischerweise nicht und die Dame, die wir unter der Notfallnummer erreichen konnten, sprach kaum Englisch. Erst nach einiger Zeit erreichte uns ein Foto und wir konnten „unser“ Tor identifizieren. Die im Angebot gezeigten Fotos stammen von unterschiedlichen Gebäuden, was sehr verwirrend ist. Wir hatten explizit nach einem Haus mit 3 Badezimmern gesucht und dieses Objekt gefunden. Überhaupt nicht in Ordnung und aus der Beschreibung nicht zu entnehmen war, dass sich nur 2 Bäder im Haus befinden. Das kleine Duschbad außerhalb des Hauses zählt für uns nicht als gleichwertiges Badezimmer. Für Familien sicherlich kein Problem, aber für unsere Reisegruppe eine enttäuschende Einschränkung. Die telefonische Reklamation wurde nie beantwortet.

The pool, the outdoor kitchen and space of the villa generally met our needs.

Towels provided could be better and some cushions for the outside furniture would improve the experience. I wouldn’t recommend the villa for those who are scared or allergic to cats as they are frequent visitors to the outside space.

Just got back from a lovely week at Villa Fullos with my family. The villa is beautiful with a traditional Spanish vibe which we loved. The Villa was clean and the beds were comfy. The outside spaces were great, my children loved the pool and we enjoyed sitting outside of an evening enjoying the warm weather. Villa Fullos facilities were exceptional they had everything you need and made our stay very comfortable. Overall a great place to stay. Great communication with the owner. Beautiful location, would definitely recommend hiring a car and getting out and about. Pollenca town is a quaint charming village/town, lots of boutique shops, tapas restaurants and cocktail bars. We would definitely recommend to friends .

We love everything about this property. It’s been like our home for almost a week. It feels very welcoming, very clean, and you could tell the property catered to the needs of the occupiers by supplying almost everything. I will never have second thoughts on staying here again in the future. We had the best stay! and oh btw the view is to die for! If you are one rooted for nature this will be heaven for you❤️
