Bonita by Algarve Holidays

Villa Bonita is in a quiet area. The outside space is beautiful. The Pool is large and would easily accommodate a family. The garden is very pretty. There are plenty of sunbeds and outdoor seating areas. There is a BBQ outside. The Villa is well equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, laundry drying stand that can be taken outside and a dish washer. The villa has 3 bedrooms with good clothes storage. Plenty of bathrooms. There is a Lidl 5 minutes down the road and various restaurants within a short distance by car. Car Hire or Uber/Bolt would be required as no where easily within walking distance. Cleaning staff were great. Customer Service Team in resort were generally very quick to respond and pleasant to deal with.

The pool heating that we had paid 60 euros a day for broke down several times. The unit is old and unreliable. We did get a refund for the days the pool wasn't heated, but it was a real pain having to keep contacting the company to repair it. To be fair to them they did come out to sort it each time very quickly. The Living room furniture is awful. Old, dated, dirty and uncomfortable. The bed in the downstairs main bedroom is two old wooden framed beds pushed together. This creates a big gap in the middle which is uncomfortable as you catch your legs on the frame. They also then stretch a fitted sheet which is clearly not wide enough, across the frames which every time you turn over becomes un-tucked. The bed is also not very comfortable. The double bed in the bedroom upstairs is a smaller bed, but more comfortable. However the headboard is RANK and absolutely filthy. We had to cover it with towels it was so bad. There are 4 toilets in total, 2 of them didn't flush properly and needed the mechanisms replacing. The issues we had could all have been avoided if the Villa was looked after better and was invested in. It's a real shame as the outside areas are great, its the inside that lets it down. For these reasons I could not recommend it, or want to return until issues were resolved.

Het huis is ruim/mooi op ‘n rustige locatie. Mooie tuin met prima ligbedden. De contactpersoon Cristina was goed bereikbaar. De huiskamer is snel te verwarmen.

De inrichting laat te wensen over. Stoel te weinig bij buitentafel. Stoelen en banken binnen zijn oud, beschadigd en doorgezakt. TV werkt niet naar behoren (ondanks vervanging batterijen). Zwakke WiFi. Toiletpapier, bestek, wijnglazen etc. was niet voldoende voor 6 personen. Om valpartijen buiten te voorkomen misschien het afstapje goed markeren!?

A casa é espetacular, a localização fantástica. A entrega das chaves muito fácil, muito atenciosos quando falava com a agência ao telefone.

A limpeza não estava a 100%, havia teias de aranha em algumas partes do imóvel, mas também é compreensível, porque foi uma reserva de última hora.

Great villa for our family, kitchen well equipped. Beautiful setting, we hired a car so was super easy to access every time we needed.
