Villa Ranta

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house, it truly exceeded all our expectations. The place was warm, cozy, modern, and perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need, and even more. Honestly, the photos do not do it justice. Once you arrive, you realize it is even more beautiful in real life. The lake, the view, and the Kota were simply breathtaking. Waking up to that scenery felt like a dream. Petri was an outstanding host, always responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. We had a personal issue during our trip, and he was genuinely there for us, which made all the difference and meant so much. Do not hesitate to book this place, it is a complete no brainer. We would come back in a heartbeat.

The host attended to us very kindly even before our arrival, resolving all our doubts. The house was fully equipped.

You have to pay extra to use the outdoor jacuzzi.

The house is perfect for family or friends gateaway. You need to have a car but if you do the place is greatly. Very big - sauna - Kota - jacuzzi, the perfect spot around rovaniemi. We have even seen auroras from the garden :-)

Everything. Beautiful villa, warm, clean and everything we needed as a family of 6. The lake was a beautiful view and the little house outside was a lovely place where we could spend some time chatting/toasting marshmallows.

So many light switches that didn’t explain in anything but Finnish where they turned on/off. Not a complaint but would have been handy to have noted in English too as I’m sure many visitors speak English

This is one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. It is better in reality than in the pictures. The villa was extremely clean, spacious, very well equipped and with lots of windows and lovely views towards the frozen lake just in front of it. We even spotted an aurora above the lake one of the nights. There is a sauna, a jacuzzi, a lovely hut for roasting sausages over a fire and lots of common space inside the house for friends to get together. Rovaniemi is at a 5-min drive from the villa. We would love to be back again to this beautiful home.

We were a group of 8 friends and absolutely loved the villa. It was exceptional, loads of space, a lovely location and very well equipped. The owner was very helpful, even though we never actually met him. We would thoroughly recommend this villa for a group of friends or a large family.

It was quite a walk to the local supermarket to get provisions, and we had to get taxis everywhere. But it was very easy to get taxis, they were punctual and reliable.
