We were given an upgrade to a huge room with 3 king size beds and a giant bathtub! Mr. David, the owner, picked us up at the airport and then took us to a restaurant after we left our things at the room, since we arrived quite late. In general the staff was very helpful without being intrusive. Mr. Ley, the guide that the staff recommended, was fantastic. He understood what we wanted to see and how we wanted to see it so we managed to visit the temples most relevant to us and he did show us the aspects we were interested in. Thank you Mr. Ley!

Cons Tuk tuk I had emailed in advance asking if transport could be arranged for the morning after we arrived to angkor wat for a sunrise trip, we already had tickets booked, the reply was that was no problem and someone would take us. No mention of cost etc until we arrived and he said we had a tuk tuk at a daily rate of 30dollars which seemed a little high but we didn't have a lot of choice as we didn't know if we could fund an alternative for the next morning so early. The driver was on time and polite, he took us twice to the temples in a space of 5 hours, thing that left a bad taste was him pretty much demanding a tip on top of the set price, we only had 10 dollar bills so he had one of those and have no change. Overall it felt very pricey and we realised afterwards just how cheap and easily available grabs were afterwards. Breakfast This was by far the biggest let down during our stay, it was just awful, zero choice at all, you were presented with a plate of two barely toaste slices of white bread, an overdone fried egg and two cold rubbery small frankfurt style sausages...every day!! It would have been okay if there was the option for different types of eggs or if there was a toaster to allow you to toast to your own taste. Each day there was a small bowl of different fruits and a very sweet orange juice presented with the tea and coffee you could make yourselves. Room Our room was on the ground floor and right next to reception and opposite the breakfast area...Needless to say it was noisy most of the time. In addition for the 5 days we were there the water never showed any sign of getting warm, this was highlighted on day 3 to member of staff who advised we turned the lever to the left, which I replied yes the side with the red sticker makes no difference. He promised he would look into this but nothing happened, I could cope with semi warm but freezing showers at all times of the day were not on.

The location is excellent when you want to visit Ankor Wat for multiple days, it is really close by. The staff is friendly, always welcomes you and provides breakfast when you want to see the sunrise. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Airconditioning is working really well. The bathroom is really nice with the biggest bath we have ever seen and a nice shower next to it.

The WiFi is not working great within the room. The smell in the bathroom was not really nice due to the high rain during our visit. The staff was helpful and tried to clean and lighted a candle to help against the smell.

Am stay here like my home all staff and owner like my family they are super helpful and hopefully with me the place wonderful location good and room every big and clean i will strongly recommend all of guest to visit Siem reap come to stay at Angkor Rithy Residence team .

The room was very comfortable and clean. Good view and good lighting. Decorated very well. The staff was very helpful and kind.

In the end we enjoyed our stay in Siem Reap. Things we liked - the room is spacious - it's located between the town and the temples - the small fruit plate with breakfast was appreciated

There were some significant issues with this hotel. In many ways it was not as advertised, and it did not feel like good value for money: - many of the listed facilities are not real. The listing needs to be changed. In particular there is no working TV, no fridge, but almost all of the listed items do not exist - the shower head and drain are both faulty, and the bathroom floods every time you shower - the breakfast area is quite dirty, particularly the floor, and there were lots of mosquitos - breakfast is okay, but very limited options compared to other hotels or homestays - during our stay we were kept awake by noise throughout the night. This was from neighbouring villas so not the fault of this hotel, but it did impact our stay Aside from these points, the owner was pushy in his attempts to sell tours, which made us feel uncomfortable at times as we like to explore independently. Also the prices for things like laundry and (faulty) scooter hire were high, and on checkout we were charged even higher prices, which were then reduced to the agreed prices eventually. We left with the feeling that the owner saw us as a money-making opportunity, rather than guests.

The place was lovely, the room was good and the staff were super friendly. I can highly recommend anyone to stay at this place :) Thank you!

It was a lovely place. Good breakfast. And the owners were so nice too! The free pick up from the airport is also good. Because I had to work, they moved to a room closer to the router, which was really nice.

The location is far, if you want to walk to the places like pub street. But they offer free bicycles.
