Spotless and well equipped traditional house

Nowhere to put anything to hang clothes or put bags. I suppose it's traditional style.

Had the experience of staying in a Japanese home. Similar to those you see on tv. Pictures shown are true. Hosts managing the place were able to accomodate my request to reveive my luggage despite my luggage arriving on their rest day. Rooms were spacious and can easily fit 4 pax each room Large bathtub and shower area for the family. There is also a second shower area. Level 2 had reading room which was cosy but we did not utilise it. Place was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle but still within the vicinity of some shops. Kitchen was well equipped.

Only had one toilet thus if a big family visits will need to take turns to pee/take a dump. Kettle needs to be changed as when we opened and looked inside, there were burnt marks. Steps to the 2nd floor were very steep, thus if there are toddlers best to keep them away. Lack of a dining table

Our 2nd time staying here. We love everything about Goten Tomoe! The beds were comfortable, the apartment is big enough for 3 kids to run around, and everything is provided for! From toothbrush to laundry detergent to towels to cooking wares! We managed to try the adjacent cafe this time round. The staff are friendly and spoke good English, food is good, and the kids enjoyed running around the porch while waiting for the food.

Honestly, nothing. We absolutely love this apartment.

Quiet and spacious

We like this Japanese traditional house, the kids wished to have stay here longer, two nights are not enough. The tatami is so comfortable to sleep on.

The floor isn’t come with heating system, some of the space like bathroom and toilet are a bit chill when outside temperature was around 3-5degC. It would be good if hook or rack can be provided in the bathroom (the one with bath tub) to hang the clothes.

Very clean and in a quiet location.

A beautiful modern yet traditional home. We only had a short stay but recommend this for other family or large groups. Rooms were really comfortable and the main bathroom nice. We also quite enjoyed the breakout room on the upper floor. Daughter turned it into her reading sanctuary.

Was hot and the front room didn't have the built in AC unit that the rooms had. Really mi or issue as we just gave place a chance to cool while we explored the local area. Really minor issue, we loved our stay!
