Villa Morelli Gualtierotti

Really good located close to Pisa, Florenz and Pistoia. Good facilities on site with Jacuzzi, Sauna and outdoor pool. Spacious villa with enough rooms for 16 or even more people.

Super geräumiges Haus mit mehreren grossen Sitzgelegenheiten, um das Essen im Garten, auf dem Vorplatz oder im Haus drin zu geniessen. Jedes Zimmer individuell gestaltet und mit eigenem Bad. Beheizter Swimming-Pool, Whirlpool und Sauna! Sehr nette Gastgeber, die prompt alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt haben.

Das Wetter, doch daran sind weder die Gastgeber noch die Villa schuld (mit Regen ist im Herbst halt zu rechnen). Dafür war der warme Whirlpool oder die heisse Sauna nach einer Regenaktivität doppelt schön :-)

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à la villa Morelli. Nous avons pleinement profité de la belle piscine privée, du coin barbecue, du jacuzzi, du sauna, de la table de ping-pong et même de la grande télévision pour regarder le match. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les différents espaces qui nous ont permis de nous réunir pour les repas, le confort d’une salle de bain par chambre, la mise à disposition de trois serviettes de bain et d’un linge de plage par personne, ainsi que de trouver suffisamment de transats autour de la piscine. Davide a toujours répondu très rapidement à nos messages. Lui et son père ont été particulièrement à notre écoute, disponibles tout en restant discrets. Nous avons rarement rencontré des hôtes aussi sympathiques et serviables. Merci encore à eux ! Une maison idéale pour les familles nombreuses — vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Un peu plus d’ombre autour de la piscine, et l’ajout d’une barre pour faciliter l’entrée dans l’eau pour les personnes ayant des difficultés de mobilité, seraient un vrai plus... mais cela ne nous empêchera certainement pas de revenir !

The villa exceeded our expectations. The location in the mountains made our stay very comfortable, especially with cooler temperatures (compared to the hot and steamy cities) and we did not need air conditioning. The pool helped us stay cool, and the facilities were just amazing. The hosts, Nedo and his son Davide were kind, attentive, and personable. They made suggestions of places to consider visiting in the area. If we needed something addressed, they were right on it. They helped us make reservations at a nearby restaurant, Antica Osteria le Panche, and our request to have parmigiana (eggplant) for dinner. We strongly and highly recommend this villa. We hope to return for another stay...we were there for two weeks.

We loved the entire house. All of our adult kids and our grandkids loved everything about the villa. Its location at 2,310 feet above sea level gave us cooler temperatures and no need for air conditioners. The bedrooms and bathrooms were marvelous. The kitchen and all of the kitchen needs for cooking were outstanding. The swimming pool is a welcome for cooling off on a sunny day. The outdoor eating areas were a joy because we sat as a family of 15 to eat, drink, converse, laugh, and plan the next day's adventures. Davide met with all of us and shared events and places of interest to the entire group. Davide also pointed us to the Antica Osteria le Panche, a local restaurant that served all of us twice, first with homestyle dishes and second with individual orders. The restaurant is a 12th-century building with much history. The villa is close to grocery stores in small villages that meet our needs, with people who welcomed us in English and Spanish. We strongly recommend this five-star home.

Getting in and out of the swimming pool is challenging for senior citizens. We recommend that Davide and Nedo consider installing a rail to help us in/out of the pool. Also, the stairs to the second and third floors could use fluorescent strips so people can better see the steps.

An incredibly beautiful place if you want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of civilization. A charming villa, beautifully designed with love of art and tradition. Here you can relax comfortably with your family and friends surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are comfortable and elegant, each follows another artist's style and with its own bathroom. You have a beautiful swimming pool and a mini spa with sauna and jacuzzi at your disposal. You will live in the forest, so you won't be surprised by the presence of ants, fireflies, neither a young deer on your path. The hosts are always helpful and super friendly, they will advice you interesting places you can find in the area and they know everything about the Pistoia region (many thanks to Nedo and Davide for your kindness and commitment). This is definitely an ideal place on the map of northern Tuscany.

Wonderful location, very rural and felt remote (tho not far from local villages) with beautiful scenery. Very well equipped house with lovely pool, small playground and great space. Davide and his father were very helpful both before arrival with my queries and during our stay. It worked extremely well for us as a big family trip with 8 adults and 6 young grandchildren who all had a great time. Thank you
