Villas Calhau da Lapa 51

Het dakterras is fantastisch. Ook de buitenkeuken met bqq maakt de ervaring leuker. De rieten stoelen zijn wel duidelijk aan vervanging toe. Het huis was heel netjes en we kregen leuke lokale versnaperingen bij ontvangst.

Op de foto's zijn nogal wat foto's te zien van calhau de lapa (strand) terwijl dit strand al 3 jaar gesloten is. Dit moet vermeld worden. Ook de sunset in zee is in de zomer (eind juli bij ons) vanop het dakterras niet te zien. De zon is vrij snel weg achter de bergen.

Stunning place to stay, do not look any further because you will find here everything you need. Heated pool, beautiful terrace, big clean house with all possible facilities. The owner provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and place to visit. We will definitely come back, it was perfect!!!

Such a wonderful villa. We stayed 6 nights with our 15 month baby. Great location, super clean, comfortable beds. We especially liked the outdoor bbq. Great host. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and took all the time to show us the villa. The villa itself was very luxury with all what someone needs to have a wonderful vacation. A private garage to park the car. Only negative point might be the view from the pool where you have a nice look at the sea however there is the motorway not far off. The positive side is that you are fairly quickly on your way to start your sightseeing or to go to the local supermarket. I would surely recommend this villa which has a perfect price-quality balance.

If I could give 6-stars I would! The property is absolutely stunning with everything one need or could think off (aircon, pool, barbecue, ice machine, dishwasher, laundry etc). Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating with tons of info provided before and upon arrival. Villa met us with fresh fruits, avocadoes, tea / coffee, ice water). Hosts kindly cleaned pool area few times during our stay which we did not expect. Villa has amazing views over the ocean and is in convenient location to explore the island. We would definitely stay again when coming back to beautiful Madeira

Too noisy, as close to main motorway and crowdy street.

Amazing villa, very spacious and clean, easily accommodates up to 6 people . Great views to the ocean, very comfortable beds. Great, cheap bakery 2-minutes drive from the property, Funchal is 18-minutes drive. Secure parking. Approachable, friendly hosts, provided advice and what to do during our stay, had complimentary fruits, pasta, eggs, cereals, wine and beer stored in the property. The pool had great views and if the weather was better, we would have enjoyed it even more! I strongly recommend this property!

Nothing, everything was great. Just bear in mind that due to the geography and landscape of Madeira, you definitely need to rent a car if you're staying in this property/area.
