Magellan House

Simply AMAZING!! Everything was totally perfect, from the warm welcome, the beautiful pool and outside area to the exceptionally equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Total luxury to escape and the best place we’ve ever stayed. Can’t recommend highly enough, wonderful!!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa. The house is fully equipped with every comfort you could wish for, and everything has been thoughtfully arranged. All other facilities were excellent; everything worked perfectly and contributed to a carefree and enjoyable stay. Communication with the hosts was also very pleasant. They were friendly, helpful, and easily reachable for any questions. In short: we would def come back!

Absolutely everything! Magellan House is stunning. Truly made our holiday staying here. Kirsty and João are fantastic hosts, always on hand if needed and go the extra mile to make sure their guests have a fantastic experience. They have literally thought of everything, right down to the smallest detail. The Villa itself really is a Wow!. Beautifully decorated throughout, immaculately clean and sooo big! If we ever return to Portugal in the future there's only one place we are staying and it's here. Simply beautiful. Thank you Kirsty and João. Xxxxx

This property is in a great location overlooking the golf-course, has a fantastic pool and is beautiful inside with so many thoughtful details. Everything you could need away from home. Hosts are very helpful and responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Nothing at all.

This is the most beautiful property and pictures do not do it any justice really, it was beyong our expextations. The pool is huge, rooms are so spacious, decor is immaculate and very tasteful indeed. The hosts really have thought of everything and even left washing capsules, fabric softner, cooking oils, cleaning products, towels, I could go on and on of what they have thought of. The host's are very caring and on hand for anything you need. This property is in a fabulous location, nice walk to huge supermarket and ubers are very cheap to the marina. If you get a chance go to Bamboo it is a fab restaraunt. I loved thiss holiday so much and will definately return.

I should have booked for longer.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this villa – it truly deserves a 10/10! From the moment we arrived, Kirsty couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were travelling with a small baby and everything we needed was provided, including a cot and other essentials, which made our stay so much easier and more comfortable. The villa was spotless and fully stocked with cleaning supplies, which was a nice bonus. We were also offered a late check-out, which gave us a bit more flexibility on our last day. The space itself was even bigger and more beautiful than the photos. It was so peaceful and relaxing, with a lovely outdoor area that we enjoyed every day. Despite the quiet setting, it was less than a 10-minute drive to the marina, which was super convenient. We all absolutely loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about this villa. Kirsty, the host, could not have been more helpful and is such a bubbly and friendly lady. The villa was exceptionally equipped and I have to say the photos online do not do it justice which is not always the way! The outside area is stunning with a view over the golf course and was much bigger than expected. The location of this villa is about a 10 minute cab ride from Vilamoura marina and there are several supermarkets a short cab ride away too if you need to replenish your stocks!

We had the most amazing week at Magellan House in Vilamoura! We were a group of six adults, and the villa was absolutely perfect – spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor area is stunning – a pristine pool facing on to a beautiful golf course and plenty of space to relax or enjoy meals outside. We spent hours just soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal – tucked away in a quiet residential area, yet just a short drive or 15 minute walk to Vilamoura Marina, the beach, fantastic restaurants, and golf courses. It really offers the best of both worlds. A special thank you to Kirsty and Joao, our fantastic hosts. They were warm, welcoming, and always available for anything we needed. Nicer people you couldn’t wish to meet and their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. If we return to Vilamoura – and we hope we do – we honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Magellan House is a true gem and gave us a holiday to remember!
