Summer Villa

We loved the breath-taking view, the comfort of the cabin, the doggies, the outdoor shower and the walk down to the stream. 2 of our 3 kids are not usually comfortable around new dogs but they fell inlove with each one of their (I think 8) new friends. I have never seen them that comfortable with so many dogs before. We are so glad that they got to experience the simple life with minimal technology.

What an incredible gem! This was the best experience and stay of my life. The views are spectacular. I found peace and tranquility here. They call it a summer villa but it should be the luxury villa. The kitchen is fully equipped. A dishwasher for big families, washing machine and everything you need for your stay. The bath tub is amazing and the linen and mattresses top notch! The lighting is warm and romantic. If you want to relax and have a chilled movie night, there’s a massive smart TV. For those chilly nights you can light a fire in the lounge’s fireplace. In the evenings I enjoyed making a bonfire outside and completely taking in the sounds of the night.

The hosts were amazing, helpful, and very welcoming. It's a family run property, and the whole family is amazing. The place is beautiful and has a wonderful view. I loved everything about this property. It's was very clear and comfy. I will definitely stay there again.

The quietness

That's there's no shower and the TV's colour is a bit weird

We liked the natural setting, the farm animals, and the kids loved the 7 friendly dogs.

Nothing serious. Maybe the braai area and facilities could be improved but it's not impossible to use what they already offer.

Location is perfect for a breakaway from city life. Close enough to Hartenbos for the beaches and fun, but far enough from hustle and bustle. The boys loved the farm and interacting with the dogs, sheep, chicken and cows. The highlight was them being able to feed the calves.

Didn’t need breakfast. Location was fantastic. Would have liked to have stayed on a little longer.
