The location is far away from the noise, inside the town village, and inside the jungle. Everything was very clean and the owners were very nice with us all the period. The breakfast was exceptional with variety every day. The AC and the internet works very good. The location is 15 min from the beach. From the terrace of the house you can see many birds, squirrels, purple-faced leaf monkeys. If you are looking for silence and nature, this is the place.

The host went out of the way to bring us tea in the afternoon and the breakfast provided in the morning was expansive and delicious! Hot water heater worked well. Refrigerator was cold and clean. Air conditioner worked very well.

Slight musty smell in the room upon arrival. Lack of clarity whether check in was flexible or whether we needed to set up a check in time ahead of time.

Rasantha and his family were happy to spend Sri Lankan new years eve with us! It was unique to discover local culture and traditions with them. We went together to the Buddist temple, an unforgettable experience for all of us! We did the fireworks, Rasantha’s mother prepared an amazing dinner, we really felt the love and care of all the family. Thank you so much for making our last night in Sri Lanka so special ♥️

The presence of a full kitchen was convenient, particularly for longer stays, as it provided all the necessary amenities for meal preparation. One memorable aspect of my stay was the opportunity to observe local wildlife. In the evenings, monkeys would occasionally gather near the balcony, offering a brief but fascinating encounter with nature. Additionally, the area was frequented by a variety of birds, with the occasional appearance of a squirrel adding to the natural ambiance. Overall, my time at this house was pleasant and relaxing. The comfortable amenities and occasional wildlife sightings made for a memorable stay, and I would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful retreat in a natural setting.

Lovely clean house, beautiful balcony, forest around, silence and the best breakfasts. Full kitchen with clean and beautiful dishes. Clean linen, comfortable mattresses, mosquito net. We booked a floor for two days, but decided to stay longer. This is the nicest place in the area for its price. And if I come back here, then only to this house.

The beach is about a kilometer away, but on a scooter this is not a problem. Also, trains pass nearby about once every 3-4 hours, but this did not bother us, and the child was delighted. I would also like a fresh renovation in the bath, but then most likely it will be a completely different rental price
