Absolutely gorgeous property. Simply fantastic house in an amazing location. But above all, our host was extremely friendly, professional and on point. What a memorable stay!

We have been completely deceived by this accommodation. It is nothing like the pictures or the advertisement. Villa de Luc is not a villa; it is an apartment in a larger building. The ad states that you get the entire house to yourself, but that is not true. This is part of a larger house. The address/location is incorrect. It is very far from Main Road, Franschhoek. The apartment is nowhere near walking distance to the places mentioned in the ad, such as: - Restaurant Monneaux Restaurant – 100 m - Restaurant Grande Provence – 250 m - "2-minute drive from the center of Franschhoek" – This is false; it is actually a 6-10 minute drive, and you must have your own car. Taxis or shuttles cannot reach the house. It is absolutely not true that the restaurants are within a short distance. It is at least 4-5 minutes by car to those restaurants, and definitely not within walking distance. The condition of the apartment resembles a nightclub and reeks of parties and smoke—very unpleasant for a family vacation. The ad repeatedly states that this is a "family-friendly" accommodation, which it absolutely is not. This is a party venue. The pool does not look like the pictures and is located far from the house. We were in the house for only 5 minutes before realizing that this was not what we had expected. What is incorrect: - Standard – This is a party venue and an apartment, not a villa. - Unhygienic – Not family-friendly. - Distance – The location description in the ad is completely incorrect, making it impossible for us to stay here. It is not within walking distance, and you must have your own car to get here, which is not mentioned in the ad. On Friday at 12:45 PM, we arrived at the apartment. At 12:56 PM, we informed the host that we could not stay here and that they could offer the accommodation to others because we were leaving immediately. We

Our stay at De Luc Farmhouse was Perfect! The home was beautiful and the views were sensational. A lovely secluded pool and very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had very clear and warm welcoming guidance from our Host through WhatsApp ahead and during our stay. We enjoyed dining in some of the many restaurants situated close by. A perfect location and property to end our South African adventure.

View was amazing over the vineyards and privacy. House is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Very luxurious!! A bathroom for each bedroom. Private pool was fab too.
